There was an episode of Castle with a plot like this. The department received a call of “Officer down!” But when examined the body the badge was plastic, the sidearm shot tequila (“very cheap tequila”) and the pants had Velcro seams on the sides. That guy WAS a stripper.

Harper was one of the best additions to the show.
