I've used 1 part worm castings, 2 part perlite, 4 part coir, gaia green power bloom at 40g per gallon, and a tbsp of dolomite lime in a 5 gal pot. Works great. Lately I've been playing with high brix. Check out docbudhighbrix.

I've been looking at building a nice soil. Right now it's just miracle gro performance organic mixed with Dr earth tomato and vegetable fertilizer and a bit of kelp meal.

Peat farming is disastrous to our environment. Wish more people knew how to make peat-less super mixes.

love the cement mixer...want one bad!!! n yeah , you could do all that i guess...I prefer going the Buildasoil way...Craft Blend, 30% worm casting/ chicken manure compost, 30% aeration, rice hulls n lava rocks, 30% peat. Feed the microbes with fish fert n molasses every couple of weeks, buildabloom n coconut water in flower. top dress n simply water. Deep into the 3rd run like this n my girls are banging.
