ОтветитьFantastic episode
ОтветитьGreat episode, great format, and what an age to be living in!
Ответитьthat is a cool cat tee shirt
ОтветитьI realise that this promises to improve life for people with some forms of blindness and other illnesses, but it sure creeps me out. The really scary part is when people start talking about brain enhancement, as opposed to repairing broken functionality.
ОтветитьBest episode yet
ОтветитьThats such a neat approach, electrode wiring even with neuralinks tiny wires is to be doubted as the future way of wiring brains (together).
Reading & writing access surely is tremendous but having targeted drug infusion/modulation seems like another really good potential field application.
Great episode thanks for making and big cudos to science team.
This is straight out of Deus Ex. Science Corp. even sounds cyberpunk
ОтветитьI look forward to this every Saturday, Thanks for the hard work!
ОтветитьAwesome 👍 please more BIOtech videos 👍🔥
ОтветитьI took the time to read “Optogenetic stimulation of a cortical biohybrid implant guides goal-directed behavior” the meat and potatoes of what ScienceCorp is doing... A lot more work needs to be done to determine the viability of their biohybrid implant tech, but the idea is interesting. Their biohybrid neural implant combines engineered neurons with microfabricated microwell scaffolds to create high-density, minimally invasive brain-computer interfaces . By avoiding the invasive penetration of traditional probes, their implants minimize tissue damage while achieving unprecedented connectivity (as discussed in the video). The engineered neurons not only survived at a significantly high rate (~50% weeks post-implantation) but also extended processes into the host brain tissue, forming synaptic connections. Functional activity was confirmed, and the most compelling result was how these implants guided goal-directed behavior in mice during optogenetic stimulation tasks. The biohybrid devices represent a paradigm shift by enabling full-duplex communication between the brain and external systems, a step beyond traditional output-focused BCIs (Nuralink). This innovation has profound implications for treating neurological disorders, enhancing human capabilities, and advancing our understanding of the brain. Really early tech but interesting nonetheless.
The paper ties together ScienceCorp’s foundational innovations in biohybrid implants, their commercialization strategy, and their broader vision for high-bandwidth, minimally invasive BCIs. I think diving deeper into the specific technical challenges, like neuron scalability, long-term functionality, or the engineering hurdles of integrating optogenetics with these implants, would have added a lot of depth. A more focused conversation on this project could also have explored the ethical implications of bidirectional brain-computer interfaces and their potential impact on autonomy and agency (that could be a whole second channel video).
S3/Jason is doing an amazing job making complex science accessible and engaging. Your ability to showcase cutting-edge companies like ScienceCorp is invaluable, and I can’t wait to see how your channel evolves. Keep it up!
This is the cool stuff and the future. well done S3!!
Ответить"Science corporation" sounds like cyberpunk parody corporation lol
ОтветитьOmg this is groundbreaking!!! You are literally designing the sci-fi aspirations of my childhood dreams! This is absolutely fantastic; and fundamentally amazing… your bridging the human cpu interface; biologically!! Wow!! 🤩
ОтветитьDo not take the mark of the beast!! The wrath of GOD a will be upon you! Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon🙏🏼❤️🕊Repent, believe in the Gospel, Be Born Again
ОтветитьS3; who would I professionally contact to inquire about possible job opportunities or direction to help steer a career into this field? Love all your videos I’ve seen so far; they’re literally all my favorite topics. Appreciate it; thanks.
ОтветитьFascinating
ОтветитьFascinating! Instead of putting wires into the cells of the brain, grow cells that the body sees as a part of itself, that can communicate with electronics. Put them onto the body and they will grow into the body. This amazing and wild at the same time. I wonder if they have to worry about the new cells growing too much? becoming cancerous? or of dying off?
ОтветитьI can’t wait to turn into a cyborg in the year 2150 😃
ОтветитьIt would be really great if Science Corp would make solving the hard problem of consciousness the goal of the company.
ОтветитьQuality as always. I think if you put some money into sponsoring some big content creators in the science domain - it will be explosive growth. much love
ОтветитьThat's CRAZY 🤯
ОтветитьI love this channel
Ответитьthis was way cooler than I expected
ОтветитьOk can I have 3rd Eye surgery? Sign me up!
ОтветитьI love the Journalist is the cameraman ❤ One+ man army
ОтветитьWhat if it's more than eletrical signal that isn't electrical?
ОтветитьThis is basically synthetic parasitic symbiote, scary.
ОтветитьThose bio connector basically a living things conquering you 😮
ОтветитьMecha-Alien Brainfuck symbiote
ОтветитьNice episode. Thank you for sharing. Why not grow out a neural network with scaffolding to the epidermal layers and optogenetics/input and bioluminescence/output I/O? Other than bandwidth.
ОтветитьThis bio-hybrid approach is a winner. Far better than Neuralink's approach of simply improving the old Utah array system... Dump your Neuralink stocks, lol.
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks for sharing 🙏
ОтветитьIf theyre starting with the eyes they really should be paying optometrists more
ОтветитьUnmatched quality
ОтветитьI don’t like mine
ОтветитьPlease 🥺 add subtitles
ОтветитьEvery talk I have heard this guy give has been incredible, love this channel!
ОтветитьAs soon as you hear, "This isn't about_____, its about ________"
You know its ChatGPT
biologically connecting a computer to the brain sounds very eery, like what would be the impact if you removed the computer?
ОтветитьHow can I invest in the company?
ОтветитьIt was great to get a picture of the cutting edge tech this company does. Naming the company "Science" is quite the choice and I hope this wasn't made casually or in a self-aggrandising manner.
Anyone in the neural engineering scene out to tread with serious care. Just because some sensory i/o can be done doesn't mean it should be done. We don't fully understand or appreciate the preciousness of consciousness, and I fear that by pursuing this tech we are like icarus flying close to the sun on wings of wax.
Erectile dysfunction affects many men & will affect men for eternity afaik & the "cure" is an insurance provided surgery to have a rubber bladder installed in the shaft.
&
One testicle removed & replaced with a Reebok 🏀 pump to achieve the desired results.
I haven't got thru this episode yet but if anyone's gonna figure this out then it's gonna be someone whose fucking with the other pair we're born with &
Noland A, the 1st Neuralink patient doesn't have functional hands to do any of the aforementioned steps with but he can absolutely think about activating a small wirelessly charged electric pump to get things going without the need for an aide to prep him for his partner thus restoring his manhood.
Is this a crazy idea or is it feasible?
What kind of moron names his company SCIENCE?
Then there is the device with a fucking led strip on it spinning non stop....
Is this a parody company?
Absolutely awful name. Up there with “The Free Press”. Pretentious and hard to use.
An absolutely fascinating piece of biotech, tho!
Naming your company "Science" has got to be the worse SEO I've ever known.
ОтветитьThe editing is amazing!
ОтветитьFormat is downright amazing dude. Thought you had at least a million subs.
Ответитьthis was a very long handed way of saying neurolynk will never work
ОтветитьDude actually called his company "Science" I'm off to create a company called "Bread" now 🤔
Ответить
