NOTE: This series went through development hell over the period of roughly a year. It took about 2-3 months to actually animate 90% of this video and the following 9 months were plagued with issues. Examples include
-One of the artists and animators did an unexpectedly awful job, forcing those scenes to be redone from scratch, delaying it
-The main animators computer got corrupted and he lost access to most of the files
-The original director gave permissions for the OG channel and patreon to the now fired artist, who did a shitty job

Yet, despite all of this, we managed to prevail and we are currently working on the next epsiode, which will cover the 20 years Anarchy and the siege of Constantinople, up to about 720.

Yeah their hair was Ollie’s predominantly brownish to black given their placement along the Mediterranean Sea. I’m now against l those with lighter pigmentation or hair it’s just ghat the average European living in both the Roman and/or Byzantine Empires most Likely retained he Mediterranean features (olive skin pigmentation, aquiline nodes and slightly darker hair characterizing Italic, Greco/Roman, near Eastern abc Celtic ethnicities. Just academically speaking. Otherwise and regardless all humans are for the most part equally valued.

This isn't quite up to Dovahatty standards, but it's very close.

Keep in mind that the stated numbers for the armies was almost certainly exaggerated. The ERE at its peak did not have 50k soldiers in one place at one time, even during the final Roman-Persian war. The Arabs weren't unstoppable or even that powerful, they just hit two empires when they were down; the Eastern Roman Empire was on its last legs, and the Sassanid Empire was dying anyway. Walid was a good general, but even had Yarmouk gone the other way, it's likely that Syria and Egypt would have been lost sooner or later, unless the empire got a very long period of peace with which to rebuild itself. Even without taking the Muslim invaders into account, this necessary era of peace never happened. All Yarmouk and a few other losses did was to speed up what was likely going to happen.

Khalid's army appearing, (maybe an earlier version of the scene with Khalid's cavalry appearing at Yarmourk).
Constantine IV laughing at the Arab fleet getting destroyed by the Greek fire at the first arab siege of Constantinople. (The Siege isn't even shown in the actual episode, so either you gave up after the development hell due to the corruption of the files, which meant the first siege footage went missing).

you are ironically doing the same mistake Dovahhatty did in his early vids, your pacing is too fast .... speak slower and more clearly .... the sound editing is also damaging the quality by a lot ... fix those 2 issues and you may stand a chance
