1. only anti-gun people use the term "assault rifle". 2. You're 80 percent more likely to kill yourself with a gun than to kill another person. This is because suicide is more common than murder. Not a good anti-gun argument. 3. He was tied up, cut, and his gf was threatened with rape in his own home. But he still doesn't think it would have been good to have a gun? Why? Because he was taken by surprise, and claims he would not have been ready even if he'd had a gun in his home. The fact that he wasn't ready and speculates that he would not have been able to get his gun on time doesn't mean that guns are worthless. It just means that he was caught by surprise. Many home invasions and other violent crimes have been stopped by homeowners with guns.

The interesting thing is this fella really enjoys his alcohol and alcohol contributes to way more death and injury than guns.

Assault weapons is a political word given by the anti gun peoples. There is no assault gun in civilian life, its a military term for a type of firearm for a type of task.

when my dad died, my mom bought a gun, A couple weeks later a shadowy figure was just coming thru the front door, she wanted to shoot, but didn't. My 4 year old sister had started sleep walking, and couldn't get out while asleep. So mom got rid of the gun.

other crimes shot up after that,,,,,knives, home invasions, etc,,,, unarmed people make easy prey

No questions asked, no warning, no second chance, just F-ing dead.
