ОтветитьThis is one of my favorite recipes by Gennaro, it is delicious. Please do not omit the cannellini beans. I hear people saying don't put beans in chili, or don't put beans in this or that. The beans make the dish in this recipe. Also, not to be rude, but if beans cause you to have digestive issues such as gas/flatuant problems, when cooking this dish , early in the stages of preparing it, add about 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar and stir it over heat so it will dissolve. You will not taste any sweetness at all in the final dish, but the granulated sugar causes a chemical reaction to prevent gas/bloating, etc... it works. That works on any dish with beans, but depending on volume, you may need 1 teaspoon of sugar instead of 1/2 teaspoon.
