You probably got downvoted by Plarium coders for calling their coding clunky. I don't think Wixwell is all that great and I don't want to build a Yannika team if they're just going to fix this stuff. I also don't want to make a Sand Devil team if they're going to change the mechanics. The main thing is I'd just like to know what they plan to do. If they leave everyone alone I'm fine with that, just don't invalidate everyone who has worked hard building these teams. I'd say give everyone hydra rewards and leave the champs alone.

All right, so he pissed off half the community with one video and showed inconsistency to the other half with the next video.
He was right in the first place and everyone knows it, even if they don't like it.

You need to be in th CC program sir. People are going to find a way to score as high as they can no matter what. Why? Because it's fun. It's challenging. When you've pretty much beaten the game, and you still love playing, what else is there? You don't have to compete with anybody else. Trying to keep up with the top dogs will drive you crazy. Play to have fun. If its not fun anymore, move on to another game. I've been playing for about 3years. I stink at this game. But I love playing. Keep doing what you're doing Saph. True fans appreciate you and the work you do. Thank you.

I think the tone of the last video is what upset most people. It wasn't a great tone, especially, I think, for those who felt like Wixwell just really helped them take that big step forward, and they were excited about that. The tone of this video is much better. Balanced games are good games, and I really enjoy when you show all the math. But sometimes I think just fun is what is important, too.

Dont give in to terrorists, Saph! Sometimes adjustments (even nerfs, gasp!) are necessary for the health of the game.

I felt bad my comment went so far, but I had a very real reason to blow off steam.
I didn't expect it to really be noticed, and I've had a number of frustrations lately.
You have shared very good info multiple times.

By missing one fusion rare, Wix costed me both a lot of time and some money.

I mainly felt the thumbnail and title could have been less nerf-suggestive in case busy devs react to skimming such things.
Other comments emboldened that frustration.

I think we need your voice we need someone to play devils advocate and to point out possible flaws if the players don’t know how to use the champs that’s not going to make it fun and everyone should have goals to reach

I have no issue with your video. I rely on a good amount of your content to keep me informed of the reality of the game. Anyone that watches you regularly will know that pushing teams to their limits without always relying on the "free win" champs is entertaining for you. With that frame of mind I completely understood where you were coming from in your video. Listening to this video where you're having to speak out the mindset for people that apparently never watch your content is a lark. It's rough translating things for drive by commenters isn't it. Anyway keep up the good content.

I can understand why people are upset. But at the same time I agree with you on how Wix Definitely needs to be fixed. This is crazy how much shield he can gain. All I can imagine is what would of happened if they didn't nerf Corpulent. The Billions that would of done to CB and Hydra.

What really annoys me is the slidebar going out from the topleft corner of the screen and blocks all the things you need to click. I HATE that slide bar telling med that I completed a mission or quest och that I am now in tournament spot 28... can the slidebar com down from the top of the screen instead? Sometimes it sends me of where I dont want to go when I am managing my chars. It is really aggravating!

What you call "sentimental" is actually gatekeeping and elitism. "Oh I remember struggling back in the days, and this feels it makes it too easy". Back in the days, you didn't have Iron Twins, and all the recent and challenging dungeons. Also, as stated multiple times in the comment section, this is PVE, having more F2P players able to unlock one keying UNM CB has absolutely zero bearing on your own enjoyment of the game. I wonder if you realize what it takes for F2P players to complete a Fusion nowadays, and how perfectly normal it is for us to dislike the video you made.

I would like to apologize on behalf of the community. Nub hit the nail on the head in his reaction video, in that you committed the ultimate crime—you shared an unpopular opinion on the internet. Before I continue, I’d like to make it clear that I also did not agree with you. As a free-to-play player who started just under 9 months ago, I have not yet been able to clear the Demon Lord on Ultra Nightmare. I am very excited to have obtained Wixwell (my first successful fusion after narrowly missing Armanz) and am thrilled to see the potential he has for unlocking that content.
 
While I did not agree with your opinion that the way his ability to grow the team’s shield using compound multiplication is coded very well, I think that the way the community responded is appalling. Especially considering everyone’s initial response to Wixwell in general. Mostly I want to thank you for putting out this clarification video. I don’t believe it necessary that you apologize for your opinion, but I really appreciate you pointing out how these changes would not hinder Wixwell’s ability to be a game-changing asset.

My biggest thing is i don’t want to build a team and it get nerfed 2 weeks down the line and now I just wasted a load of resources on a now unusable champ. We need more clarity from plarium as to if they see it as a problem or not because we want to build these champs and abuse them while we can but low spends or f2p don’t have resources to throw around if it’s just going to be instantly patched.

I really liked your video from yesterday explaining how the shield increase works. Don’t feel down when some people is being harsh. You know you are doing a good work when haters appear 😂. Keep up the great work!

You are doing an amazing job and creating super valuable content, and it's important for me to hear your thoughts on any issue Plarium should address. I did Wixwell Fusion and currently don't own any reset champions such as Kymar or Yumeko, and in my mind, Wixwell might be broken (especially your point in CB, where the maximum damage Demon Lord can hit won't break Wixwell shield), and regardless of the fact that a Yumeko reset is probably not on the table, I think it's not even relevant for this discussion. Looking ahead, the fact that Wixwell might be broken will help with the double Yumeko Trunda situation, but it only worsens it.

Only talk about nerfs and reworks of champions that can affect tournaments and PvP. For pve no one really cares if a non void champion that everyone had an easy opportunity to get is a bit busted broken or OP. It does take several other champions and decent gear to get a Wixwell team going.

You’re thinking game balance and equity. That’s so important. Multiplying multipliers is never good.

I still think his shield growth is insane, Currently I haven't booked my wixwell and put him with Geo and 3 other extender with one of them in shield set and that team deals 150m+ on UNM beating my Deacon forever comp with Gnut around 130m+... all I did is put the team with their current gear and put a preset, as long you have a shield set, he'll always be able to grow that shield really fast

The important lesson we all have here is.... Give Saph access to the test server so we won't have this crap anymore XD

Saph you're the man. We all appreciate that you owned up to the controversy. Plarium just needs to work out their new champions more and fix their bugs and pre-balance these champions so they don't suck or break the game when introduced. Cool cheese comps are part of the fun in this game since hundreds of champions are useless (rares/uncommons/common) and a waste of resources to build already.

I think Raid should do nerfs regularly.
They could nerf all of those champions mentioned and it would not make a dent in my 160 lego champs pool and even if I would have to replace couple of champs in my main teams- I would not care.
What I do care about is a Hydra Clash where 1 person can do more points than whole clan just because Raid don’t have the balls to do nerfs. I don’t like to go to Live Arena and face all the same champions all the time for a year- again just because Raid release un-balanced champions and then refuse to change them in order to balance them.
Saph should go on and call out all the lazy work of Raid whenever he sees it. This Wixwell shield coding just shows that Raid also have juniors working for them and that their dev lead is too busy to check juniors PRs.

Honestly, wixwell is really only breaking the game for those who have Uber gear, maxed great hall and stuff. Jgigs posted a video yesterday showing off his version of it on his free to play, and barely got enough to 1 key with a max turn count run. For 95% of the community, he doesn't break anything. Also, trunda is in the same boat(unless I'm missing something in her build).....

Honestly I don’t think it is wrong to call you out of touch. Saying the rewards should be better in an area is not the same as being confused why people struggle with content because you can outgear it with nearly any champion on your account. Many of the people you talk to have accounts of the same size or bigger and don’t see a complaint over a champion will do massive damage to smaller account.

they should just give out a very overpowered mythical for free that can be used for pvp and pve......the community will be quiet for some months

changing champs or revamping champs is not a option so much if plaruim realses a OP champ on global servers especielly not testing thier champs properly and nerfing them they will get alot of backlash including cc its a fine line i guess
