2 mages trivialises this fight tbh. 2 mage, simalacrum. Two spell triggers, two chain contingencies, simalacrums use spell triggers, stripping her resistance and lower her saving throws and the mages chain 6 abi dalzhims, she is already near death. 😂 using wish refreshes the spells every round.

Mellisan is such a hot girl. If it wasnt for her attitude and her goal and she would made a fine dish cleaner with Gorion's ward lol

I'll respectfully dissent from your on-screen typed comment about the mini-boss battles not being difficult. I think the last battle, against the demonic horde, is pretty tough. The enemies consist of a Fallen Planetar, two Marileths, an Alu-Fiend, and a Succubus. The real pain, here, is the Fallen Planetar, who is pretty tough and makes concentrating on the other four enemies a challenge. I set up a whole bunch of Skull Traps inside the demons' room, before engaging them. I would've used Spike Traps, but, I had used those up and I didn't have access to the Wish spell, to rest my party. Those traps took out the Alu-Fiend and the Planetar, making this battle much, much easier than it otherwise would be.

I played this year, maybe 2 years ago and... I never killed her, honestly. Its still frustrating a little bit but I will not go back and try again. Its hard as hell and I know that I have no chance against her :(

I never completed that when it first came out (As the fights became more powered I'd become more inept) but couple of weeks ago I, finally, saw Beamdog had a version on Android and really enjoying it (great to be back with Imoen, Minsc and Boo and I've fallen in love with Neera). Thanks again for posting this and may you also continue along the Sword Coast and Amn.

So strange to see the toons I never take and the class I'd never play in action! Actually, I do end up taking Aerie a lot.

Prior to the third fight with Mellisan, I set up a minefield where she teleports to. Imoen, Nalia, Aerie and their simulactums cast 30 skull traps where Mellisan teleports to. KABOOM!!!!! Round 3 over immediately!!!

she dies, solar does not appear, black screen waiting for something, nothing happens

I'll never forget that feeling when I beat this game at first....

Although I never felt that BG2 extension was worth playing, I really like the great number of dialogue choices! Some are funny too.
EDIT : the voice-acting too is quite nice, notably the memorable Minsc. I enjoyed watching the ending tiles of the companions I also had when playing the main campaign of BG2-EE.

I am absolutely unamused with BG3 and it's mechanics. Especially with it derailing so much from BG2 in terms of the story told. I think I'll just get back into BG2 at this point, with my multiclass warrior/mage/cleric and a bunch of sociopathic companions, see how far the Tactics mod pushes my knowledge of the game. This story right there is what I grew up on, this is my home, the pinnacle of imagination and storytelling. It deserves the 20th clear.

I just beat her with a party of 4. My main lvl 38 pure Kensai, Aerie, Jaheira and Imoen. My dual Katana wielding Kensai with Hindo's Doom and Celestial Fury, a potion of heroism, improved haste and Critical strike while Aerie and Imoen cast breach/ruby ray etc. would almost insta gib her before she could do any of her summonings, especially in the last phase of the boss fight.

I've been replaying Baldur's Gate saga due to COVID-19 lockdown and my grand adventure through Faerun is coming to the end of the road... The root cause of my inability to ascend to godhood was always Minsc (and Boo) with his lament about missing our butt-kicking evil together... It makes me tear up and say "yes" to mortal life, without fail. Jaheira's speech was touching as well, and I've always kept her in my party till the end and felt her as being part of my family...

Oh, I love this game with all my heart... Thank you for making this video! 乂❤‿❤乂

After all the shit my character had been through, with Baldur's Gate Rejecting her, Jon Irenicus torturing her and her best friend/sister and suffering betrayal at every turn.... especially because all she ever wanted was to just do what was right for those around her.
Just choosing to live a normal life from there on out (even if she was single in the end) and... I don't know, living in a cabin in the woods as a humble hunter, seemed like the most satisfying ending.


God, despite how difficult it was for me to get into the game, considering I only started playing it last year, it definitely made me feel for Gorion's Ward and Co

Well baldur's gate 3 is announced and developed by Larian Studios. Hyped as hell right now.

I've finished the game just 20 minutes ago. Great game. But i chose to be mortal, did'nt think getting the bhaal essences to me would be a good ending too. Nice! :)

Minsc is the best companion to have ever been created, Boo also!
