My tips for first-time and beginning motorcycle riders! There are a few things you must do before buying a new motorcycle. Things that have helped me, and things I have learned.

#1 - Learn to Drive Stick Shift
This is huge. It saved me when I was a first time motorcycle rider. I already had years of driving a manual car, and it saved me valuable time on the motorcycle. I was able to easily transition, and allowed me a safe way to learn.

#2 - Buy a motorcycle that you want
Buy that liter bike. Srs. Buy that motorcycle that everyone laughs at, but you like. Buy that Indian Scout from Indian Motorcycle Tucson....wut. But srs, I love my Harley Sportster 1200, and I am glad I didnt go with the Iron 883.

#3 - Buy Protective Gear
Atleast buy a helmet and gloves. I love my Roland Sands Design Dezel gloves. Fit wonderfully and look amazing. Same can be said about my Bell Bullitt TT. Except for the fit. I still sometimes get headaches lol.
