That single 30mm Cannon on the nose is no ordinary business. Single round could shred any allied fighter maybe P-47 could survive few shot

The American P-51 Mustang, the British Spitfire and Hurricane, the Japanes Zero. But one aircraft would stand out among its contemporaries. That aircraft was the Messerschmitt Bf 109The Bf 109 is by far the most
deadly aircraft to ever take to the skies.with somewhere around 20,000 air to air
victories.which was still one of the most deadly
fighters in the air by the end of the war.

Fact 6, the reason for the awful pilot killing landing gear system (extremely narrow and joined on the plane body opening/closing outwards) was a requirment to be able to take the wings off so they could transport it on planes.
"Dominated the skies for the first few years of the war". That will come as very surprising news to the RAF.

Where are you getting the nonsense about Yugoslav and German109s fighting?!? They were all set ablaze on the airfield on the day of the German offensive on Yugoslavia by a traitorous Croatian general. He would later (after the war) become marshal Titio's commandant of RV i PVO (Yugoslav air and anti air forces) for the next 20 years! ('cause he was such a harden anti fascist) Also, Yugoslavia had a fighter that was actually better than the 109. Your research is...flawed?

RIP Marseille
His prop blast pushed him into the tail assembly. His parachute never opened.
He still holds a dozen or so records.
16 kills in 1 day
2 kills with 1 burst
Best friend was a black guy, I love that
He wasn't a normal Nazi....

Hurricane pilots being pursued by an ME109 had only 1 option: turn, turn, and keep turning until you were in position to fire on the ME109. The ME109 could not outturn the Hurricane.

Much of the initial success of the Bf109 was attributed to the fact the pilots had gained a lot of experience in air warfare in the Spanish Civil War, prior to WWII. Many of the aircraft it initially encountered were severely outclassed and the pilots inexperienced. The Hurricane had a greater rate of turn and the Spitfire greater level speed. Hence the failure to gain air superiority in 1940 in the Battle of Britain, where some UK pilots only had 20 hrs solo flying experience before being sent to front line Squadrons. By the time the Mk 9 Spitfire was released it was being completely out flown. Much of the further success was against lumbering un-escorted US bombers in daylight. Once the P.38, long range P-47 and P-51 aircraft were introduced the Bf-109 was cannon fodder. I believe it is wrong to claim it was the most successful fighter of the conflict, based on the number of aces, without the above factors being taken into account.

A "superior" officer forced Marseille into an aircraft known for its unreliability which resulted in the ace's demise. A person who did not actually fly aircraft forces a pilot to fly a plane the pilot knows could kill him.
Jesus F*&^cking Christ!
It is the insanity of the West!
F*7ck the western bastards that continue to make the rules for ordinary, tax-paying, righteous citizens!

The country is Jugoslavia, (also "Yugoslavia"), not "Yugoslav", which describes a person born there or something from that country (food, wine, goods, etc); my father was born there in 1925, as part of the large ethnic German minority there. Yugoslavia was created as a nation after the first world war; prior to 1918, it had largely been part of Hungary, and the northern part reverted once again to Hungarian ownership after 1941, until the end of the war.

I believe that it was derived from a luxury civilian executive sport plane , not unlike the Beechcraft Bonanza of postwar American fame.

Although their politics and racism stank, these folks were way ahead of the curve when it came to technology.
