Dead silence is the most deafening experience I have had. As crazy as it sounds 😂, seriously, dead silence is frightening. It has happened to me and not a pleasant experience either. I don't know why or how it happened it just did. It seemed to go on for a long time, but it was probably only seconds. As I say, it was not a nice experience and wouldn't want it to happen again.

My cousin is a deep sea fisherman just off the Florida keys. We get along very well, until I asked him what is the creepiest thing he's seen or heard on the ocean.
