First off, y'all are definitely good talkers so props there. Secondly, while I understand this video series is a significant undertaking, I think that it would behoove you to either do your full research or not do the video at all. Some examples.....Buendia sadly tore his ACL just days before the start of last season after having a sensational preseason, Konsa started nearly the same (if not more) games at CB as he did at RB, Morgan Rogers is a 1st team starting 11 player at this point and you didn't even put him on your chart or talk much about him, and lastly your transfer figures are significantly incorrect (not sure what your sources are). I bring this up because people watch videos like this and form opinions from them, which puts you in a powerful position. Giving people misinformation and not knowing the whole story while acting like you do is poor practice.

Buendia has been injured out most of season with acl injury, but he is in America pre season with rest of team. Unfortunately mings doesn’t appear to be back on the grass yet!

Buendia acl in last season's pre season ( the week before Mings acl.) Both are not quite ready to play again. Kamara acl from January means he will not play until November or later. Ramsey missed most of last season; he is still not ready either. Our best right back is the young Serbian you didn't list as a Villa player. I expect having him this season will result in Cash being more consistent in an effort to get some game time. Cash may also play further upfield. You also didn't show Rogers as a Villa player. I expect Rogers to play behind Watkins as a second striker. Ultimately, I see Rogers as a Watkins clone.

Archer went for 22m to Sheffield united and we got him back for 18m so we made 4m we didn’t lose anything. Also we had to buy him back because it was in a buy back clause if united got relegated

Jbp went for 5 and we signed him back for 13 with our sell on clause so an 8m loss

Watkins is still underrated he was near the top for goals scored and got the most assists in the PL 23/24 if that was a Man City player or arsenal player they would be saying his world class or at least giving him the respect he deserves for that season the media can be sickening sometimes with their bias to the so called big six.

What Emery does it genuinely improve players. He knows who he wants and how they’ll fit his system. He’s a tactician and a great one at that. He definitely has plans for Barkley and Bidace, he can do wonders.

•Kellyman fee is about right. We wouldn't have sold him were it not for needing to donit to get Maatsen in. Chelsea capitalised and got a great young player that otherwise wasn't available.

Dougie was 50m Euros (£42m) which alone was low, but We also had to buy players from them. The fees We paid were fair. Dougie went cheap. No PSR and he sells at £60m

Archers deal was pre-agreed. Were Sheffield Utd ro he relegated they would get most of their money back. It's all PSR stuff. It's not nice but clubs have no choice.

You can't be mad at the Philogene deal. He insisted on leaving for minutes. There's zero chance he moves for £5m without us being in a strong position to get him back. The contract was agreed before he even left. What basically became a loan put £5m on our books rhat was likely instrumental tonus gettong Rogers. Over all its cost us £8m but We let him go when he wanted more minutes. I think thats quite stand up.

I doubt that Archer or Philogene were ever told that they weren't wanted. Both were highly rated. But academy sales count as 100% profit towards PSR, so the deals helped massively there. When bought back the fee can be split across the length of their contract, so doesn't erase the previous profit.

PSR is the key here. We have money, so paying out a few million to stay within the rules and increase the amount we can invest in the first team is well worth it.

Looking forward to seeing them in a Villa shirt again. Philogene tore it up last season. Great experience for him.

There was a myth that villa struggled juggling European football and the premier last season when actually, I think villa lost one game they should of won off the back of a ECL game which I think was forest .
You mentioned how villa lost the semi final… if villa did struggle juggling the two it was probably that our squad was so depleted at that point, Emery knew that being so close to CL qualification,Emery had a choice to make and he chose to limit his players game time on the Thursday. .
Just to point something out regarding Jaden … if your a young, hungry football that’s desperate to prove their worth but yet a manager isn’t offering you the game time …. Is going out on a fancy loan best for both parties?

Why would you do that? When villa were literally offering him A: PL football if Hull didn’t get promoted B: an option to stay at Hull if they were promoted and C: it was a very clever way of solving an FFP/PSR/FRP/SFR…. Probably both Hull and villa were facing .

Sorry guys but your lack of knowledge about Villa is cringeworthy. Douglas Luiz was less than half the player without Kamara after Kamara did his ACL, so was almost ineffective in the role he had to play, hence the Onana transfer. Diaby, became an expensive substitute player considering the form of Bailey and Rogers. Buendia did his ACL the week before the season commenced, so didn't play at all last season. In fact, Villa had 3 ACL injuries, while Moreno, Ramsey, Torres, Tielemans all had injuries too. The team that battered Man City never played together again due to these injuries. Emery has added to key areas of the first team, while increasing the level of quality throughout the squad, which is the reason we went out in the Semi Finals of the Conference League, we didn't have the quality of back ups and first teamers were on fumes.

Interesting views, however the guy on the right looks like he has his arms folded - bad body language and posture, along with some lazy expressions, makes him come across disinterested and negative. Clubs move around academy players like Philogene and Archer to give them game time to prove themselves, the provide them a way back to the club - that is better for the player's development and a model for the future. He was a key player under Emery but was injured all of last season with an ACL, however now is back on field on the pre-season tour in the US. You say that Villa got top 4 because the other clubs had 'dropped off' - Villa has been top 4 four in form since Emery's appointment. And the perfomed top in the mini league between the top 4 clubs based on last season's results. For me Aston Villa are closer to finishing 3rd than finishing where the guy on the right suggested - 10th - there aren't 9 clubs currently better than Aston Villa in the Premier League on any metric whatsoever.

Before the start of last season when villa qualified for the europa conference league there were many people "ex players, pundits, presenters etc who was all saying that in their opinion we didn't have the squad depth to be able to compete at the top end of the league and play every Thursday and Sunday! Obviously everyone witnessed exactly what our club managed to achieve, proving all the doubters wrong.
