MSI MPG Velox 100R Mid Tower PC Case Overview

I think its perfect, I can save on fans and just get a 360mm Radiator right? Then that would be it for airflow and cpu cooling. Its not a bad price either

Thanks for vid ! Just bought one for my son. Will be delivered tomorrow. We are building his 1st gaming computer. Im trying to figure out since I also bought the MPG Coreliquid K360. Do you connect the AIO lighting to the hub that is preinstalled on the Velox 100R so the button on top case controls all the fans/lighting simultaneously or do you connect the 100R's fans/lights AND the AIO's all to the motherboard ?? Our MB is the MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk Max WiFi. Thanks again !

Man it was so perfect thought i had it all planned out! I got an msi 4090 suprim aio. Unfortunately with the 240mm radiator it wont fit horizontal on the motherboard. So i thought no problem ill mount it verticaly with the included mount..... the mount isnt compatible with the slim gpu the conector doesnt line up..... ugh. Anyone have any suggestions?

Uh can anyone help my RGB strip is not working but the RGB in fans do work and i even tried changing my cable another RGB header

I bought this case about a year ago and have really liked it. It's a great looking case, seemingly perfect for my build. One issue has cropped up with the LED button that you demonstrated here. When you boot up, the fan LEDs should power up at the last color selected (say for example blue). This worked fine until about a month ago...now, nearly always upon boot up, the fans will start up in say, a rainbow color mode instead of the last color selected (blue). When this happens, the LED button is then inoperative. When working correctly, you should be able toggle through the colors as you did. This is really an annoying problem. Sometimes you can shut down (before logging into windows), restart and it may then work correctly...until you shut down again, then the issue returns. Everyone (including MSI) seems to want to steer me to MSI Center (or Dragon Center) together with Mystic light. I tried this approach and it went nowhere as the advertised features (such as mystic light) do not appear in the software when installed. Seems this is a common problem. In any event, I shouldn't need to install any software, I just want my RGB toggle function to work properly as it did for nearly a year. I haven't been inside the case making any changes, this issue just came out of nowhere. I'm wondering if that little RGB fan hub could be faulty? If so, can I get a replacement? I'd welcome any thoughts. Thanks!

Excellent...I'll be starting my build on this case on the weekend...looks ideal for what I want. I plan to mount my AIO cooler [Mag CoreLiquid 240R V2] vertically on the side vent. Appears to be a great value. I'm not sold on the value of all the RGB lights, but if they're all included...I guess I'll give them a whirl.

Hi, I bought this case but the strip isn't working correctly. I mean the right part is lit with white but all the rest of the strip doesn't litgh up. Should I send back the case just for this or do you think my cables aren't connected ?

Did you have any issues with the led strip going out at all? Mine worked when i was testing the lighting but after i did my full build it just does not work anymore, its for sure plugged in but idk if it just happened to burnout. This is ny first pc build and everything works besides that one led strip. No one has answers

The problem I see here is that there is very little space between the PSU and the HDD bay. My current case, that is a Cooler Master TD500 has the same issue.

I have a question... i have this same case and i bought 3 more of the same msi fans so that i could put 2 fans on the side back panel but the gpu doesn't fit up against the motherboard properly because the bottom side fan is sticking out slightly to far and stops the gpu from being able to click in. i know you can buy thinner fans but i want to use the matching msi fans all round. have you run into this problem, and do you know if there's a way to have the hole motherboard stand out further so the gpu will fit over the side fan?

Just bought this case from Best Buy and got done with my build when I couldn’t find the front panel connectors. I took it all apart and those wires are no where to be found. Wonder if it’s a manufacturer defect or what

With the fan connectors to attach to the motherboard does it matter which one you use? Other than the cpu and water cooler ones mines has 1-6 system fan sockets on my motherboard. would the front 3 be 1-3 and the rear single fan light at the back be plugged into system fan 4 socket?

the one on the back doesnt change color when i press the button? what could it be?
