As a foreigner, I would like to objectively inform greatness of the US. It is the only country in the world with vast territory, great adventurous spirit, willingness to learn from mistakes, and strong Faith. And, it's a great testing ground for humanity.

As an Indian, I'll have to admit that the American anthem is really one of the best I've heard; partly bcoz its in a language that I fully understand, and partly bcoz both our countries, more or less, had to fight for our independence which is quite apparent from the setting of the anthem. Soldiers fighting for their land, sacrificing their lives and freedom to free themselves from imperialists, and doing everything that is necessary to ensure that their flag flies high. This is something that India, and every other country that had to fight for their independence can relate to. Whereas I'm still an Indian by heart (and a patriotic one at that), I have a newfound respect for your country, and your history. Let the Star Spangled Banner fly high!
