That's the American court system, especially in democratic run states. I can assure you the police are as frustrated as everyone else. Especially since we have to bare the brunt of all the hate for the failures of the court and corrections systems.
ОтветитьI thought this was a twenty minute video, just realized I watch fifty minutes instead that was so interesting, and yes there is a most dangerous game movie from the 50s haha
ОтветитьI seriously love how much you reference "Mindhunter"
(I worked on season 1 as Jonathan's stand in, and played a Crime Scene reporter in several episodes.)
David NEVER should have abandoned season 3 for other projects. We were all sad, believe me.
There is a pretty good movie about this psycho with John Cusack as him if i remember it right.
ОтветитьOhh your rambling is insane...
ОтветитьLobsters are water bugs. I love lobster but Vietnamese people eat crickets
ОтветитьIt's a John Cusak movie too with Nicholas Cage
ОтветитьMatt is too funny,is this about cannibalism, no but I'll look into some stuff on cannibalism if you want 😂😂😂
Ответить@thecasualcriminalist
Is the "Mush Inn" full of "Mushrooms"?
I bet the owner is a Fun guy! 😂
Iowa Native and resident here. Born in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Glad you are doing a video about my great uncle, Robert! Thanks Simon!
ОтветитьDo you hold the Guinness world record as the world's fastest talker.
ОтветитьMy grandmother was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas
ОтветитьSimons writers when someone hunts wildlife 😡
Simons writers when someone hunts humans 😃
This story was done on an episode of The FBI Files.
Ответитьwell written, but P L E A S E quit playing this godforsaken music while Simon is speaking. It's not a movie
Ответить"You're an adult man get over it."
I was bullied in high school, and the girls made it very clear they wanted nothing to do with me. I am now an adult man in a good relationship, but to this day I can still remember the look of disgust my highschool crush had on her face when she discovered that I liked her. That shit cuts deep.
I'm not in anyway saying that is an excuse for killing, but telling someone to "Get over it" is the exact dismissive mentality that causes men to bottle up their emotions, not talk about their problems and not seek help for those mental issues because men are told repeatedly that nobody gives a fuck about their problems.
Thanks for the lack of empathy Simon.
I hate the argument that 'oh I killed them because women rejected me' because it puts the onus on women to say yes to creepy men lest they go murdering because their precious feelings were hurt, rather than saying 'fuck off you creep' because they're not unlikely to murder you (and women who do get murdered 'shouldn't've gone with him anyway, so it's her fault')
ОтветитьI don’t like hunting at all of any kind. I know people who hunt animals for food but I know I wouldn’t be able to do that myself. I struggle with any type of suffering. I can’t imagine how much terror those women felt as he hunted them. He’s such a pathetic human.
ОтветитьMaybe I’m a little off but I’m a hunter and the fact that this dude blindfolded these girls then claimed to hunt them just messes with my head. You shoot deer that can see. That’s some beyond psycho shit there.
ОтветитьThis one of the worst ones.
ОтветитьPeople move to Alaska because after living there for 12 months, they start paying you dividends for each family member you have. So...they pay you to live there in a way.
ОтветитьWhat the fuck is wrong with humans - I mean wtf
ОтветитьI was apparently left handed as a small child but my parents forced me to use my right hand and also had to have speech coaches when I was in elementary school because of a stutter. But no one ever linked the two.
ОтветитьSinister comes from a Latin word meaning “on the left side” so close enough.
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, I don't like the idea of "handsome, charismatic" actors playing real-life serial killers in movies. Take Zac Efron for example, people are gonna watch that movie and associate handsome, charismatic Efron with Ted Bundy and it's like ffs, do we REALLY need more weirdos associating positive qualities with that POS?
ОтветитьI remember when my parents drove past his house and pointed it out to me and my brother after dinner one time
ОтветитьWhat is Simon's obsession with Sarah Palin? 😂 Even US Republicans largely ignore her.
ОтветитьThis case is interesting but i don't find it amusing that the host is attempting to tell jokes during his explanation of the crimes committed
Ответить"The Most Dangerous Game" (1932 film) with Fay Wray and Robert Armstrong, both pre-King Kong. Leslie Banks as Count Zaroff, thehunter.
ОтветитьI went back to prison for theft and the other person who touched a little boy got out on personal and was told to stay away from the victims and kids
ОтветитьTo answer a question that seems to be consistently coming up... the US legal/criminal system has little care for women and children. As far as women go, the horrific things that happen to us frequently get chalked up to our own fault... we wore clothes that "asked for it" or other such victim blaming literal cop-outs.
ОтветитьFrozen ground is a movie about this story staring john Cusack and Nicholas Cage
ОтветитьMy Mum was forced to write with her right hand which is absolutely ridiculous
ОтветитьI would call my mom or dad first I'd rather talk to somebody I know and trust personally than a random police officer and I'm a man.
ОтветитьWhy are you blaming the police for a short sentence instead of you know a judge who does that I'm all for criticizing the police when they do a bad job but criticize them when they're the ones who made the mistake not when the judge made the mistake
ОтветитьWell presented
ОтветитьI have a few distant cousins I’ve only met once when I was extremely little. They ran away to Alaska. Truthfully if one of them wind up being a feature on one of your episodes one day, I wouldn’t be surprised.
ОтветитьThis episode is so sensationalized and has so much speculation regarding this guy's mindset. There is no need to sensationalize. The facts speak for themselves.
ОтветитьWas telling my dad about this story after watching this episode. I said "The Butcher Baker" and my dad whips around and said "I met him!"
My dad worked with youth getting them placed in internships and apprenticeships. He helped a teenage boy get an apprenticeship at his bakery.
My dad only met with this guy once for about 20 minutes, but given his notoriety remembers him as a skinny, kinda short, socially awkward man. My dad struggled to describe his demeanor, but concluded "He had shit social skills." which makes sense given... everything.
My uncle also met him, but that's way less surprising given my uncle also met Israel Keyes during his time working as a prison guard up here.
The island of Dr moreau. Is the movie about hunting people, I believe..
Ответить"He had red hair"...
See's picture...
I may be colourblind but thats fecking black pal.
Theres an episode of law and order svu lightly based on this guy, that epsiode still gives me the shivers
