Braves fan, this is a totally different team then the WS year and that's fine because that team was lightining in a bottle. I still feel really good about our outlook for years to come just with our current core guys and the up and comers. Also feel like I can't judge a season on the post season outcome, only emotionally because that can be such a craps shoot but I think they're obviously still on the right track.

The insane bias and hate against the Tigers is crazy. Torkelson has shown CONSISTENCY. Baez has lowered his swing rate. Especially 1st swing rate. They also have a stellar rotation that will keep them in every game. Let's be real here and honest.

I’m a Braves fan and the Snitker tenure has definitely been successful. The baseball playoffs are such a crapshoot and the best team rarely wins it all. The Braves have won two championships in my lifetime and neither time were they the best team. I’ve also seen them lose to teams that I didn’t think were better than them. If you’re a team making the playoffs every year, you’re successful. During the Bobby Cox run I was too young at the start to buy my own tickets and too broke when I did get out of high school and start working to go to any playoff games. Now I got to go to at least one playoff game every year for 6 straight years until last year (even in the COVID year the Braves sold “pods” to sit in the outfield and watch the game on the Jumbotron and it was such a cool experience I’m counting it). Another World Series would be great but in now way could you look at the last 7 years as anything but successful.

Its been a suprisingly fun season for the Cards. Top tier offense and they are doing it with small ball. Top 3 in runs scored but near the bottom in home runs. Brings me back to a long gone era of baseball before launch angles became a thing. I dont think this will be their year when all is said and done, but ill enjoy the ride for sure.

Talking about the cardinals, and ask Katie Woo if you don’t believe me, but we need to remember that Nolan did NOT request a trade. BOTH Sonny Gray and Willson Contreras told the front office they will NOT accept any trade. These guys want to be here man. They want to be redbirds, they want to win. I don’t know any other clubhouses in any other sport with a culture like that coming off two terrible seasons with the front office actively communicating that this is an experimental season. These guys are special man.

As a Mariners/Cardinals fan (grew up in St.L, lived in Seattle since I was 18, when I really got into baseball) hearing positive, optimistic talk about them both in May on this show feels like a fever dream.

As a Braves fan I’m not unhappy with the core offense we have but I’m not thrilled I think we’re heating up but the expectation since 2021 In MY opinion has been World Series or bust I think 2023 showed what we can do but i think getting back to that will be hard
