ОтветитьGrand! Magic! ♥ you you forever, Billie!
ОтветитьOf many I love, this is my favourite Billie Holiday track of all
ОтветитьThis sounds more like Ella Fitzgerald
ОтветитьOuuu, what a little moon light can do. Beautiful song.
ОтветитьBenny Goodman, or Artie Shaw, makes it sublime.
ОтветитьLove ❤️
ОтветитьMafia the city of lost heaven

Ответитьi LOVE you billiejzsksjjssjsj
Ответитьworm handler: No it was Teddy Wilson and his orchestra that was performing in the background not Benny Goodman or Glenn Miller
ОтветитьRoy Eldridge (tp) Benny Goodman (cl) Ben Webster (ts) Teddy Wilson (p) John Truehart(g) John Kirby (b) Cozy Cole (d) Billie Holiday (v)
ОтветитьThe definitive version of this wonderful song. Thank you Billie, Teddy and the band
ОтветитьBack up personnel included Benny Goodman here and I think Teddy Wilson. Wish I could find these early recordings the bands were top notch and Billie's voice was still fresh and not sapped by drugs and booze.
ОтветитьReminds me of
Deddens Highland Fling.
(RIP)
I guess the first Billie Holiday song I ever heard. I worked in a record store and knew she was important so I found one of the early greatest hits releases on vinyl. 1973 or so. This was track one. Never looked back.
ОтветитьReminds me of a very special someone. <3
ОтветитьSmooth smokin sweet Jazz ❤❤♩♩♩
ОтветитьShe had such a sweet, rich voice, like a confection.
ОтветитьRecorded on July 2, 1935.
ОтветитьThis song makes me wanna find a Partner and swing jump jive and waaale til my legs and feet hurt til i gotta walk hme wit no shoes . I think of my great aunts and my fathers mother i think of my grandmothers mother being young and from the south living in harlem as a young women
ОтветитьMarvellous
ОтветитьThis is my favorite and goes out to my mom Amanda Scott at a nursing now facing some health challenges. She's going to a medical appointment today. She saw Ms. Billie Holiday in person at The Savoy in Harlem as a teenager. 8/7/19. (Wed.) 7:45 a.m. 🌟
Ответитьgood
ОтветитьOh, man. Over 80 years later, this still swings so hard.
ОтветитьOoh, what a little
Moonlight can do
Ooh, what a little moonlight
Can do to you
You're in love
Your hearts fluttering
All day long
You only stutter
'Cause your poor tongue
Just will not utter
The words, I love you
Ooh, what a little
Moonlight can do
Wait a while
Till a little moonbeam
Comes peepin' through
You'll get bored
You cant resist him
And all you'll say
When you have kissed him is
Ooh, what a little
Moonlight can do
Ooh, what a little
Moonlight can do
Ooh, what a little moonlight
Can do to you
You're in love
Your hearts fluttering
All day long
You only stutter
'Cause your poor tongue
Just will not utter
The words, I love you
Ooh, what a little
Moonlight can do
Wait a while
Till a little moonbeam
Comes peepin' through
You'll get bored
You cant resist him
(I love your taste in music <3) - Anjilena

ОтветитьSix feet under claire
ОтветитьThanks to Nino Haratischwili for giving the hint to this beautiful little throwback in her book 🖤
Ответить❤️
ОтветитьFantástica Voz e um acompanhamento excepcional.
ОтветитьProbably sounded nice from large cabinet radios that homes had in them ages ago.
ОтветитьThese cats were tough, and age definitely got that sultry voice that all great female jazz singers have!
ОтветитьWho’s here because of the biopic?
ОтветитьO Brasil é o pior país do mundo.
ОтветитьImagine living back in the 30s listening to this. There’s no doubt that it made someone feel cool.
