I've had various tires plugged on various cars, probably about 20 different times by the tire shop. The plugs never failed. They last the lifetime of the tire. I've never gotten one of those patches but a friend of mine did. The only reason he got a patch was because he insisted that he wanted a patch. The shop did it, and that worked too.
Ответить"Soapy Wooder." Awesome videos man!
ОтветитьWhat am i even doing here...
I have a exam tomorrow and i don't even have a drivers license yet!
My moms car got a flat tire it did have a spare tire but my dad came and towed the car
ОтветитьPlug pusher usually damages the metal mesh beneath. Which further results the tyre to mess up the alignment... The loss of aligbment results wobbling while you drive. Getting the tyre opened and fixed from the inside is bit costly but ensures avoidance of early retirement of tyre
ОтветитьYour trunk looks way too clean and orderly. 🤔
ОтветитьHey there Chris, love your videos! My 2001 mustang has an issue with the acceleration where it seems to lag, feels like an engine issue rather than a throttle sensor. I don’t know if you’ll see this but I thought maybe you have a solution
ОтветитьMy dad do it
All you need to fix a flat tire is some gum, a McDonald's drink straw, and a healthy set of lungs!
ОтветитьChris, you always provide AMAZING, thorough videos that I appreciate SO MUCH!!! You are easy to listen to and just plain brilliant!!! Thank you and God bless you!!!
ОтветитьI've never seen a 12-volt compressor that wasn't crap. You'll be lucky if one lasts through a single inflation.
ОтветитьChris did a temporary tire wash lol
ОтветитьWhy did you said? m ess?
ОтветитьChris, what did you torque your tire lug nuts to? I have no idea what to torque anything to on my old car.
ОтветитьWill tire shops remove the nail AND patch it from the inside? for free?
ОтветитьI suggest also re torquing your lug nuts after 10 miles or so, just to be safe :)
ОтветитьCar engine explodes
”Hey guys ChrisFix here!”
“Wooder”
You must be from my neck of the woods
I have a story related to this tutorial. About 5 years ago I watched every video of Chrisfix and I really liked this one. So I bought a plug kit similar to that shown in video. It was laying in my trunc for a past 5 years and 2 days ago I finally got a flat tire to test it. I was in Spain on holidays and had to ride back home on Sunday and it was in the middle of nowhere, so no tire repair in the area, plus siesta. So I watched this video again and learned how to fix a tire. I draw about 1600 km and it is still there. Thank you Chris to give the advice for buying repair kit and perfect video instructions. It really helped and maybe saved my life❤
ОтветитьSo tire shops won't mess with tires that have fix a flat in them?
ОтветитьYOU ARE MY FAVORIT
ОтветитьIs rubber glue the same as rubber cement? I m fixing my friends tyre and I wanted to ask you
ОтветитьOnly ChrisFix and Chuck Norris can fill a tire to exactly 35psi on the first try.
ОтветитьBest air compressor
ОтветитьYOU ARE A GENIUS
ОтветитьEXCELLENT! KUDOS TO YOU, WELL DONE...
ОтветитьYea very clever 🙄
ОтветитьTire mechanics in USA are whiny. In our country they don't complain if there's sealant
ОтветитьThere's nothing more permanent than a temporary fix! I've driven on plugged tires for years without problems. This video has everything you need to know for dealing with a flat tire in 11 minutes flat. Perfect and thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much
ОтветитьGreat video. Helped me out thanks 🤛
ОтветитьIf you haven’t use your vehicle in a long time, then your tires go, flat cause of the air is disappearing
ОтветитьTyre plugger kits hopekess for women...just too hard sadly. Wish a better option could be invented
ОтветитьHow do you tighten lug nuts on a spare tire if you don't have a torque wrench? You can under tighten or over tighten the lug nuts with the spare tire wrench, right?
Ответитьanyone else in a parking lot with a flat rn
ОтветитьTire shop owner here. Never use fix-aFlat! It destroys everything and most tire shops could charge 20-50 dollars to clean it up and you have to buy a new tire. Just air it up and get it to a tire shop, it’s worth the $30 plug-patch vs a new tire!
ОтветитьStill a solid video. I love “soapy Wooder!”
ОтветитьThey don't teach this in Drivers Ed like they used to.
Ответить1st step , call road side Chris Fix service, lol
ОтветитьHow do people memorize all of this this is complicated
ОтветитьCurrently on the side of the road mile from home, wish me luck
Edit: almost forgot to updat but I’m good
Thanks man! This saved me hundreds of dollars!
ОтветитьWell done Chris 👍
ОтветитьThanks very informative, I might start my car when running the tire inflater, I'd hate to be suck with a flat and a dead battery.
ОтветитьOne small detail to add. If you are out there change to the spare tyre. And you have no access to a stand of any kind. Use the spare tyre as a precautions and swap it with the leaky tyre when you are ready to put on the spare.
ОтветитьWow
