This is the stupidest shit ever. Not even sure why anyone would take charge trips in a EV.
Ответить1340 miles/26 hours= 51.5 miles/hour. It's like going at an average speed of 51.5 miles/hour even tho I have seen you driving at 85 miles/hour. It took you 26 hours to get there while it would take 20 hours on average to get there assuming that you stop twice to pump gasoline.
ОтветитьI'm more of a hybrid guy myself. Full electric is cool, really cool in the case of the cyber truck however not good enough. Batteries are just not efficient enough.
ОтветитьTerrible range 😕
ОтветитьIn my mg 4 x ev if I did that many miles Id have to stop 6 times
I know you don't have any mg 4 x ev back home but it's just for context
What an absolute nightmare. Why would anyone buy this crap?
ОтветитьWhat an ugly, disgusting piece of s**t. I wouldn't take one for free, except to resell it to some eco-looney !!
ОтветитьThe ban on gas vehicles and forcing EV's on us is all about restriction of travel and government control.
ОтветитьThat just does not make and sense at all. You're just driving from charger to charger. Too much waiting.
ОтветитьI'm sorry to break it down to you, WTF. That many stops that much time? Not really the future!
ОтветитьLove the truck but man that thing charges slow! My 23 Plaid I charge at 1000 MPH all the time at 250 KW chargers, you were only hitting like 550 MPH at the 250 KW chargers. And I can go 300 miles between charges and it seems like you were stopping almost every 100 miles or so to charge, sorry buy that would be a pain. I guess the Cybertruck isn't really made for road tripping.
ОтветитьWow....only 8 stops, each requiring 30min wait time, which adds 2 hours to trip. Sounds amazing. Not to mention the awkward charging. This is such a dud. Don't know how ppl love these cars.
ОтветитьI owned a 2019 model S standard range. Tesla range 275 miles per 100% charge. What I actually got during my 4.5 years of owning it?????? 85 to 90 mph. Tesla service center told me that was good range. F'n kidding me me?
Brought another Tesla in June 2023, Model Y long Range. Tesla estimated miles? 330mi. What I actually get ? 115 to 130 just a tad bit over 1/3 of the estimated range.
We, as Teslas owners and daily drivers, need to accept reality..... Elon had bamboozled us.
Tesla has consistently lied to us and over promising. Lied on advertising. If anyone is honest with themselves they will know the range they advertise you get is not what you get. You lucky if you get half of what they promised.
I beleived we should sued @tesla
Perfect example. Monday MLK day day day I charge my model Y to 90%. Today is Thursday January 18, I have driven a total of no more than 25 miles .(wife drop cars at daycare in AM and I pick up in the afternoon, we live in NYC. Day care is 1.1miles from home . 2.2miles a day ) at 10:00PM Eastern time and the battery is at 38%. That's a 52% of battery consumption. For the 25 mile range I have driven the car swallowed up 172 miles . 147 miles went to power up the car and 25 or under went for driving.
THIS IS NOT EFFICIENT . Tesla, this is highway robbery. I can show pictures as proof.
Looks awful
ОтветитьLooks tedious af
ОтветитьThe cement wheel stops are there for you to back up and know when to stop? Even in my model 3 if i dont do that its iffy..
ОтветитьThe story of charging....and charging. and charging. Quite stupid car.
ОтветитьI can't stand watching tesla road trips where the driver of a 250kW capable car fails to use 250kW chargers most of the trip. Plug in at a 250kW charger at 5-10%, and leave at 50-60%. That will cut your charging time by more than 50%
ОтветитьWelcome to Texas, every supercharger on I-10 West of San Antonio is a 150kWh V2 charger until you get to Van Horn. And Tesla won't bother making upgrades. Pray someone doesn't charge next to you.
ОтветитьWith a Diesel you would have needed only 1 or 2 stops lol
ОтветитьBuy an expensive Car so u drive under 80 so that u dont have to charge it bambilion times. Guys, this must be some bad dream im dreaming
ОтветитьOh just by the way.. i fill up my 3l e-klass with 90L diesel in 5minutes and i do 900km without worries to fill it up. By speeds 160-230km/h in germany.🤡 honk-honk
ОтветитьBmw X5 3l Diesel, 1 Fill Up= 650 Miles 🤫
ОтветитьI can’t wait until I order my cybertruck! It seems pretty cool might not be for roadtrips but still it’s cool
ОтветитьWhat’s so insane/ridiculous about this plain/boring looking dashboard ?? Good luck all electric car owner looking for electric charging stations and stressing out 😰
ОтветитьA little over 1300 miles at 27 hours? Nope.
ОтветитьDrink every time he whines about how close he has to get to the charger.
ОтветитьBro 30 min just to refuel💀💀
ОтветитьI can do this on 2 tanks of standard Ford Mondeo TDCI 2.0
Ответить12 stops for a 1200 mile trip. Q stop roughly every 100 miles. Elon and tesla can go to hell.
ОтветитьI did the same road trip in my cyber truck, pulling 2 jetski. It only took me 52 hours with 47 charging stops. Awesome truck
ОтветитьWhat was the cost of all those charges? If it was free what would it have been if paying for it?
ОтветитьWaiting for 40 minutes to charge your vehicle is INSANE. What an impractical hunk of metal that is. That isn't a cool truck is a piece of junk.
ОтветитьToo much energy consumption: "80 miles/h - because we are speeding?" Hearing laughs from my BMW 6 diesel cylinders. I would really love the Cybertruck from it's optics, Design and features. Too bad it's bad in the basic mean of driving long range.
Ответить40 minutes of charging to drive 90 minutes is wild .
Who woulda thought a 3 ton truck isn’t very efficient ??
On the first glance just a few things to point out. Temperature was 1 degree Celsius so pretty much freezing temps which is not optimal, the car was using up insanely much power judging by the last trip meters from time to time 900wh/km which is absolutely nuts. In comparison my M3 dual motor does around 180 in freezing temps , 160 in summer. So I bet some flooring or over speeding was the norm here as it was ranging between 300wh and 900wh/km. Also sad to see the infrastructure in the US is still so shit, in Europe you can't drive 50km without hitting a high speed charger and that allows you to always just charge between 5% and 60% ish so you never have to wait the 40 mins + as displayed here between charges. Tbh all in all the stalls were ok, getting 80+kw at 80% battery capacity is nothing to scoff at , M3 has barely 50-60 at that point and that is if I am lucky. So this shows pretty much the worst case scenario.
ОтветитьI think charging times may need improvement through software but that’s just a guess. I am wondering if there’s something going on with the software on these. I don’t know it just seems off compared to what they reported about charge times, but to be fair it could be something to do with the chargers themselvesor combination of both as well as range efficiency not sure if that software or if that’s just the lack of the batteries being able to handle the range. Hope they can figure it out and I hope it’s just a software issue.
Ответитьall that charging adds so much more unnecessary time to a long trip
ОтветитьGod this thing is a fucking waste
ОтветитьDude you have to learn how to road trip in a Tesla. Arriving at a charger with 30+% is way too much and you’re charging for too long.
ОтветитьSo much wasted time during charging. 🙄
ОтветитьIdaho has very few charging stations. Get away from the interstate and you are in big trouble. I am sure that goes for Montana too.
ОтветитьI heard that the Cybertruck was fattening. Every time you stop to charge you eat a snack.
ОтветитьWhat happens when there are 100 million morons waiting to charge their electric cars? Exactly….gas cars to the rescue.
ОтветитьHmm, factoring in all my gf's piss stops it would take roughly three days from Portland to Seattle
ОтветитьI have never been to a fuel pump and been routing for the thing to get up to pump speed. This is asinine. End the EV nonsense now.
ОтветитьYou averaged 52 MPH! Not good news, but thanks for pointing that out.
Ответить
