Was just wondering is that your grandads tools behind you your office? I hope so cause it looks like they were put up with love.
ОтветитьFor a guy who does some of the most incredible work and has such insightful design, you're far too polite to a person who treated you like some lackey. At the end, you still call him 'client,' when he is nothing more than a total ass. In my last contact with him, I would let him know that I would be informing every designer I ever heard of to make sure they don't have a similar experience.
Ответитьthe reveal just blown my mind
ОтветитьSeveral people have said what I was thinking, I liked all 3 designs. However, the final one was the best. Out of curiosity, how much does a bed like this go for? Will you make more like this or leave it as "One of a Kind"? Great workmanship.
ОтветитьI agreed with you on first option. 2nd one was perfect fit. But the ultimate result...just wow!!! Piece of art
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful. I love the bent inserts.
ОтветитьOver 1M views, great video but that thumbnail, phenomenal mate. Very inspiring
ОтветитьWow. Just WOW ❤❤
Ответить🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьI m from Ethiopia woow I like your design I need you help to
ОтветитьSo you started working on a large project without a deposit or full payment beforehand? Before you even agreed on a price? Sounds like bad business practice to me. You screwed yourself, it's not your client's fault.
ОтветитьWell done. Bed head, lol.
Ответить@pedullastudio Hey Nick, I love your woodwork style and ur whole perfectionist take on woodworking. I recently came across you and truly think your the most talented woodworker that I've seen. Your videos are quality and your work is some of the most beautiful and creative pieces of bespoke furniture that I have ever seen. I'm also in Sydney, Australia I'm 18 and I would love to work with you, and learn a few techniques from your craft or just come down and check out your pieces out in real life.
ОтветитьБезупречная работа!👍👍👍
ОтветитьA antler cross section inlay off the walnut geometry (semi ellipses charred).😉
ОтветитьThe whole bed turned out beautiful, but that headboard….GORGEOUS 🥰🥰
ОтветитьSecond one is not so good design for people having Trypophobia
ОтветитьNice work dude 👏👏
ОтветитьI liked the second version best. When I see those curved slats, I just imagine the dust that will collect in between, and the hassle of cleaning in between them every week.
Ответитьاخي لديك أصول عربية ؟
ОтветитьI like it both ways. Don't over think it my friend.
I'm guilty of it myself... beautiful work!
i would definitely buy that it look so good
ОтветитьGENIUS! You've redefined the word 'craftsman'...The Missus and I are addicted to your videos...one better than the next!
ОтветитьFinna steal your design and make a much worst version in my school shop thx for the amazing design of my mediocrely fabricated future bed
ОтветитьI think the best way to approach the "design cost" issue is to simply inform the customer that it's done at a set rate for this initial proposal, then any reiteration is done at a percentage of the set fee until the approve the final design... This final design is now the property of the customer and they are free to move forward with you or move on to another company to manufacture that design, you've been paid for your work, and the customer has what's been paid for to that point, so no loss to you or them... The trick to ensuring that they stay with you for the manufacturing is to offer to negate all design fees of the final invoice, effectively making that part free of charge in return for retaining the manufactur... The rest is down to the quality of what you can produce and how good you are at "selling ice to Eskimos"... 😂
ОтветитьI wonder how it would look if you tried the texture technique after charring the wood.
ОтветитьWhen you said "that client is me" I gave your video a like right away. I'm glad you didn't stop believing in yourself and your design. I practice Architecture so I can relate to your story. I actually tried burning an Architecture model I made because I thought it look cool 😅 (Freshmen Year)
ОтветитьI marry you 👅👅👅🧔🏻♂️💍💍
ОтветитьStunning
ОтветитьHoly crap, you just ruined my life! I’m never going to be satisfied buying another bed frame! Incredible work! Your sleeping on art!
ОтветитьI draw a ton of inspiration from your work. I love your energy , passion and craft. Thank you for inspiring me to push the limits
ОтветитьWOW Mr Pedulla! You are amazing! Thank you for the high octane inspirational shot, I feel so eager to get back to my own pieces. Too much client work lately, which has paid well, but it is less cool than this, not forgetting that you do go through frustrations throughout! Thank you for this wonderful cinematic experience! I am blown away!
ОтветитьAmazing craftsmanship imagine a table with this design
Ответитьthe bended wood, don´t fit your bed design, i would say.
ОтветитьA truly stunning piece, if ever one was.
A massive congratulations.
I’m just glad I won’t be the one having to dust it.
how you gonna clean the dust outta that
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful, engine out with tremendous workmanship, a true object of art
ОтветитьAwesome work Nick
Lots of love went into making that bed, and hopefully lots of lovemaking will be done on that bed 😂👌
The Char'd inserts would have looked better against a dark stained wood, and not so contrasting, hence your dimpled walnut on walnut looked great.
But it still resulted in the best piece. So well done!
harika görünüyor..💯💢
ОтветитьThis piece blew my mind. I just started out doing some simple woodworking projects and it's really inspiring to see what is possible to make! Specially when bending the wood using steam! 🤯
ОтветитьI have to be honest with you. I still love your videos but what made them great was the lack of voiceover. they were classy and very relaxing to be watched thanks to your amazing woodworking/videomaking skills
ОтветитьAbsolutely gorgeous piece! and lessons well learned from a common business mistake. All the best to you mate!
ОтветитьThe finsihed piece was truly beautifull. But the charred one was just as good imo. Lovely work and great cinematics!
ОтветитьGod level woodworking and filming skills. New sub here!!!
Ответить"Woodworkers naughty corner". I enjoy your rhetoric and honesty and sharing your mistakes!
ОтветитьYou HAVE to say how much you were charging for this. As woodworkers, we NEED to know.
ОтветитьBloody hell mate, everything else aside for a minute, this is a hellishly slick video. It must've taken ages to create!
ОтветитьIt looks like this could be an inspiration for you: Moebius, Laguerre and Minkowski transformations
