Having seen so many kids saying they want to get a fursuit for thousands of dollars they will outgrow and desperately trying to talk them out of it, I think this is a good thing.

I’ve had my head in the attic for years I took it down and it seemed like my nose was getting smashed more than it used to is there a local company locally meaning I’m California at least that could customize the mask to mask my mask head feel better to wear for hours on ? And the body can use some work too but the mask is more important can you please tell me the best way to go

Someone on Reddit used these masks as a base for their fursona and it turned out pretty great! I think it could help with younger fursuiters to save money to make their own, similarly to the Dino mask craze that happened on TikTok.

I actually have one of these as a young fur! I got a bunny mask 60 dollars. But it is pretty cheap but still looks kinda cool (and silly)

Hey, not a furry, but I want a hyper realistic cat suit because I rescue cats and I sort of love the idea of being a huge cat to promote them. I may also just want to be the cat. Ergo id get the spirit Halloween masks.

They’re low budget, they can be modified and can even work as a template for customizing your own.

But honestly, as far as I can see them it’s perfect for low budget types like myself! :P

Found you from TikTok; love your content! I'm excited to see what people are going to do with these, as I know I would have LOVED one as a kid. Same with dinomasks! I remember feeling like I wouldn't belong when I didn't have a fursuit to wear to cons, and so I never went. Having more accessible and entry-level options for fursuiters is amazing.

I actually have 2 dino masks while i wait for my fursuit maker to make mine! When i get my suit my furry friends will wear my dino masks while i suit so they dont feel left out but get to wear somewhat quality gear.

Progress will always find a way to produce. It's the way of things. Artificial Intelligence has the artistic community scared in the same way that electronic synthesizers scared musicians when they were introduced. But, nothing is going away. New things are being added and that's a GOOD thing. I doubt that anything will replace hand crafted fursuits.

As a therian and maskmaker… I don’t really think they’re masks either. Masks are really handmade and custom and have a lot of presonality. But everyone has their own defenition of things i guess

This popped up in my recommended, and I gotta admit, it was a bit of a jump scare to see the BB&B turned Spirit Halloween of my hometown! Cool to see there's still a local furry community!

The fursuit heads could be very useful as a base to dissect and refurbish, which is nice.

I actually don’t mind when things like this happen, it lets younger furs or even furs who don’t have much money be able to get something that may make them feel more involved with the fandom, I’m sure many people will find ways of customising these the same thing as Dino masks, it’s an affordable way to get something that lets people be creative. Fursuits are so expensive and even from beginner designers are too expensive so this is a nice way for people to make a move to getting their hands on something to help them join in. As someone who doesn’t go to fur meets because without a suit I tend to feel really left out and ignored and I’m very certain other younger furs have felt these would definitely help imo.

Funny seeing furries, who are SUPPOSED to be very welcoming, end up outcasting people of their own community because they can’t afford a 20k dollars fursuit and so forth.

Like yall will hate on anything. Paper fursuits, Dino masks, etc.

Might as well just not let anyone be a furry unless they are rich 💀

another really cool sort of "entry fursuit head" are the cardboard therian masks younger creators have been making on places like tiktok. Furries and therians are distinctly different communities obviously but they're pretty neat teqniques that i think should be shared! like all you need is cardboard, paint, some tape, cotton batting, elastic and mesh. and MAYBE clay/ small yarn whefts of fur if you're being fancy with the details. AND THEY CAN HAVE MOVING MOUTHES TOO LIKE WHAT

I have the gray fox one. I call it a fursuit because it's the only one I have. I might customize it later on in life but I love it how it came
