Talking with commanders last night due to the sadist nature of fdev nerfering mining commanders gave stopped lodging station selling data, it has now become a fear of loosing the only profit we have left in mining despite those saying platinum, the more we talk about it the more things get nerfed, as a elite miner of musgravite even i worry my only source of income will end

Are there systems you can go to where you won't be bothered by NPC pirates?

Had to mention that in the system with Dav's Hope there is a freighter named Limpet Lives Matter. Enjoyed the stream, btw.

Positive news...
Hello DTEA, Mr. Astro.
For months I've left negative moans about the unfair changes to Elite and the way the haulage side of Elite has been unnecessarily interfered with.., well for very good and honest 36 years of experience of being a space trucker reason's, my loyalty to Elite came crashing down 2 months ago. Well, I've spent the past 36hrs running around in my Python doing nothing but data runs, which doesn't pay but it's not dangerous either. No Gauntlet runs.
I purposely set out to answer my own moans I left in your comments 48hrs ago.
So, I set off in my purpose built courier Python but now I have the access to those Prosthetic Shields, I've added those shields to my Python. This means that though I've lowered my sheilds from 6A to a 3A module, I now have the equivalent of a 5A sheild strength but still have 272 tonne cargo space, I had to put a small 1A fuel Scoope on for an emergency only, so I lost 8 tonnes of Cargo space.

1) I wrote to you about checking the small Gold mine I had found in the middle of nowhere to see what the transportation situation was like,.. urm well... Later...
2) I wrote to you in the same comment that the Gold, Palladium, Platnum and Silver had disappeared from the transportation side of things.., well, no! My little Gold mine was Back in business, yes I greedily grinded my palms together looking at those deliveries that needed collecting and transporting to their various locations. What's even better, I was in my Python so I could collect though, of course, this also meant the return of the relentless Gauntlet run was back as well. I can't believe I'm going to write this but, it was a case of, "Hello Boys n Gals, let's dance!"
BUT hold on...
I continued to see what the outlook looked like, hense I went out on data runs, only, far and wide, I didn't just stick around in 1 area, no, I let the data deliveries take charge of the destinations.
Not only is my little Gold mine back in business but I found, yeah that's right, I found a singular big station that was doing mineral/metal runs... After I had come full circle, I ended up in a system next door to my small station Gold mine, 36 genuine hours of game play, the system right next door to my small station Gold mine was this big station offering courier work so big, my Cutter is the only choice for these haulage jobs. It's slow, but has 8A Prosthetic shielding, fully gunned and has a hull & module tank as well as the 446 Tonne cargo space with just enough ability to avoid the gaunlets these haulage jobs are going to attract. Did I mention my hanger bay? Hee, hee.

In 36 hours, I found only 2 stations offering these incredible highly dangerous Gauntlet runs. 1 small station I've known about for years but the other 1, a big station which is new to me for this kind of work but an old station to me as I use to deliver at this station on a regular basis.

I am not going to share these locations because I don't want the development team to mess around with these incredible rare stations.
The last time I shared a different location, people made videos, then the arguments started about transportation not being dangerous, blah, blah, blah.
So here is my 1 and only clue: these stations are surprisingly in the bubble. If you know your trade routes and have not found these stations, I guarantee, your going past them. That's 2 clues.
If your lucky enough to find these stations, keep them to yourself, don't make videos about them and enjoy the rewards but the biggest experience based advice I will give you, build a purpose built haulage tank. Leave your Type-9 and Type-10 parked up. A Python, Corvette, Anaconda and Cutter are they only ships you can do these haulage runs with, even then you'll still land up in a defence, run away combat situation. The trick is to build a decent sized cargo bay with enough shields to help you run away because what you have to remember, your carrying very expensive cargo so, only a fool fights with precious highly expensive cargo on board, the pirate may have Cargo breaker limpets on board. So your Transporter needs boost and shields but a lot of cargo space. Your building a defensive Transporter tank not a fighter. If you do this, you'll be thanking me.
You will also witness the 5-9 interdiction Gauntlet run every single trip. Thus you will witness my argument of how dangerous transportation really is. A real space trucker runs this very dangerous but fun and very annoying Gauntlet. I have lost many ships while running this Gauntlet. So be prepared and leave your slow ships behind. Cutter is slow but has 1 hell of a defence system and for all ships mentioned, you will need a small hanger bay as a distraction if you are forced into battle.

If the Frontier Development Team are reading this, please leave these rare stations alone please. I would like to own a carrier before I die.

It's nice to share some positive news for a change and share some experience based advice.

Question about the Fleet Carrier trip - will you announce when, on the way home, we are close enough to the galaxy that we can jump off the carrier and find our own way home without getting stuck?
I mean, unless you think that's rude of us and you want company on board to spin the tunes for you on the drive home :P

o7 Why would prospector limpets not fire out of the front of an Asp Explorer and the collector limpets seem to self destruct after they are fired. I mean I am hearing a loud explosion when I send one off

I've been trying to do core mining, but haven't been able to find a single core asteroid even on a hotspot...

Part of that I think is the fact that my scanner looks extremely different. The squares are very large and twitchy and it gets annoying to stare at after a while, while in this video and a few others I've seen the boxes are smaller and stable. Is this a graphics setting, or a nerf or something?

Most people are saying that the cores are always cores if the color and shape and black lines are enough. After watching this I realize they all look the same and can still not be cores even if the color is correct.

It’s all just down to luck and checking everything that’s even close to bright.
