Considering Fenrir is said to be big enough to swallow the whole sun, he’d have to be billions of kilometers tall. He’d make all the Heisei Godzilla kaiju (who are in the 90-150 meter tall range mind you) look like fucking ants

Yeah, thing is if he was that powerful then why be scared. It's like a pitbull they are pretty strong. It really depends how they are raised, so it's not Fenrir's fault he was like that. It was a common reaction for not being trusted and feared, and trying to be killed.

Wolves being associated with deception and trickery really fits with Fenrir being Loki's son.
Edit: the world serpent as well.

Welp, guess I’m going to work with Fenrir cause he legit just existed and the Gods never gave him a chance, unlike his siblings, so yea it makes perfect sense why he’d be mad

I could never understand why they just didn't train Fenir better. They perceived him as a threat instead of an ally that could best any army. SMH... I would have made that guy my best mate.

Fenrir is my favorite being in all of mythology and I've always viewed him as a tragic Villian. He only becomes the force of Ragnarok as a result because the Gods imprisoned him.

Everyone seems to forget These beings and concepts are Metaphorical Alogorical constructs for natural phenomena in the world and throughout the universe, and things that relate to the inner workings of the human body and mind.
In the case of the Fenris Wolf it is a description of a devouring black hole consuming celestial bodies and parts of the cosmos.
As part of a necessary cycle of death which without there can be no rebirth into a new cycle. Internally within our minds it could be an all encompassing desire for greed and power that leads to our own demise, The greatest flaw in Norse mythology if it were literally true is that Odin who's supposed to be renound for his great wisdom, doesn't do the one simple thing that would prevent Ragnarok, and that simply kill the wolf when it was a chained, helpless pup as he already had knowledge that Ragnarok would take place and would be to his Demise and he had the power to prevent it but doesn't by slaying the chained wolf.

This makes the meaning of Norse mythology collapse like a house of cards and would mean Odin isn't as wise as we would be led to believe. I struggle to see the point of it because of this one major, obvious plot hole.
