Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Ответитьyou need lo listen to that, but in live version.
ОтветитьIt’s 2 piano/keyboard
ОтветитьYou should do Separate ways, worlds apart by Journey. Awesome song
ОтветитьOne good one is Stevy Nicks Stand Back Drum Cover.
ОтветитьYou know your music with this one.
ОтветитьIf you’re listening to HEART in 2024…then there’s hope for humanity yet.
ОтветитьI wouldn't call this their greatest masterpiece, I much preferred the earlier stuff like Barracuda. This is Whitesnake/Europe/Hair Rock - bit too ballady for me.
Ответить^ minutes in, and she STILL hasn't gotten to Ann's EXPLOSION after the intro.
ОтветитьIt sounds like a mix of a piano and a harpsacor
ОтветитьElizabeth, check out Heart’s “These Dreams” performed by sister, Nancy Wilson. Read up on the background of the song, and how it was almost re-recorded due to Nancy’s raspy vocals (hint: she was sick at the time of the studio recording). It became an instant classic because of it. Enjoy! 💜
ОтветитьU said 'delicious nasal taste', haha. Sorry, my inner little kid cracked up
ОтветитьThis is one the coolest vids you've ever done. I love this critique! You are awesome, Elizabeth! Thanks for acknowledging the brilliance in Nancy's voice. She doesn't get enough credit, IMO.
Ответить"Surrender to me" with Anne Wilson too was the song of Mel Gibson/Michelle Pfeiffer movie.
ОтветитьUnequaled ..still gives me chills
ОтветитьIt reminds me a little of a harpsichord. During my piano lesson stage, my teacher had me experience playing a harpsichord.
ОтветитьI could have u rewind this song hundreds of times, it's FRICKEN AMAZING, one of the best. Major goosebumps, thx for picking this song! ❤️
ОтветитьThis song is certainly among their masterpieces.
ОтветитьImo this is about as perfect a song is done. Ann's voice, the way she sings it, the thought and feeling in her voice as she sings it. The music is just awesome and the way it's played like everyone involved just got it in every way! It gives me chills every time since the first time I herd it. Just outstanding!
ОтветитьSometimes you just need to shut up and let the song play and then do an analysis instead of stopping the song every 5 seconds then starting it over from the beginning….
ОтветитьYoure crazy if you thimk im watching after this infomercial !!
ОтветитьThis was a standard grand piano sound on electric keyboards (even cheaper ones) when I was a kid in the 80s. Ive had the sheet music for this song on the piano since I was 15, back in 1991.
ОтветитьThis is one of the songs on my Playlist that I absolutely restart anytime someone interrupts me while it's playing. It's an absolute all-time favorite for me.
ОтветитьYour reactions are so detailed and full of passion!❤\m/👏👏
ОтветитьEmotion Connoisseur 😊
ОтветитьPhonate…wacka wacka wacka…. Got it. Seriously though, I thoroughly enjoyed your analysis of THE best female rock vocalist ever
ОтветитьSounds like a harpsichord.
ОтветитьI got news for you - until you’ve heard “Mistral Wind” you haven’t heard their “greatest masterpiece” this isn’t even close to it !!!
ОтветитьLove Heart and love Ann's voice...but "greatest masterpiece" should be reserved for their 70's output, IMO.
ОтветитьWow, you are interrupting WAY too much.
ОтветитьBetter if you talk at the end.
ОтветитьEverlast - lonely road
ОтветитьMost people don't realize this is a Cover Song of Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly's 1983 song. John Stamos and Valerie Stevenson did a duet of this a few years later then Heart made it a #1 song!
ОтветитьIf you love duets you just can't get better!!
ОтветитьQuit stopping the music lady! Comment when the song is finished
ОтветитьYour passion, authenticity & love of what you do is powerful and infectious. Thank you for these videos.
ОтветитьI dont think anne wilson needs a vocal analysis. No movie. It was on the radio everyday in the 80s.
ОтветитьAnn Wilson's God given voice is like no other. Her vocals are beyond words, literally! I'm glad I saw them in concert, one of the best of all time.
ОтветитьIf you want to hear more of Nancy singing. Look up her duet in Loverboy Almost Paradise
ОтветитьListening to Elizabeth's detailed analysis it's totally fascinating. She points out things that I never even thought about
ОтветитьCeline Dion did a cover so that might be what you heard.
ОтветитьMasterpiece? Heart's best songs, by far, were the ones they wrote themselves, early in their career. Similar to Aerosmith and other hugely popular bands, when they started singing and performing songs written for them by other successful songwriters, their music became more commercial and they were rewarded with more popularity, but they lost their edge and what made them great. I'll take Crazy on You and Barracuda any day over Alone and These Dreams.
ОтветитьAlone is one of my all-time favorite vocal performances and it really does chill me to the bone each time I listen to it.
ОтветитьIt’s a chembalo imitation
