Do u have water color plus stencil video??
ОтветитьNatasha, I love how you showed 4 different levels of techniques! I also like that you used the same colors so that people could compare apples to apples. 4 very different looks! Can't wait to see what you will do with them!
ОтветитьI am an avid fan of your fabulous channel so I don’t understand how I missed this video when it was first put up, nevertheless it popped up on my “recommendations” am so happy that it did…….. you are a 🌟must dash am off to watch part 2 🤗
ОтветитьLove that stencil
ОтветитьVery nice idea, Natasha; TFS.
ОтветитьI'm glad you kept them pretty similar. I was sure if texture paste was worth the time and money. Now I can tell. Thanks as usual for sharing your stash and your creativity and time.
ОтветитьI think ther are made for slimline cards.
ОтветитьThis video is giving me all kinds of ideas! I have some light woodgrain paper that would be a great background for these techniques! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful cards. I find using tile grout from the pound shop works really well. I just add ink or paint for the colour that i need. As texture paste I think us quite expensive
ОтветитьLove all yr projects.
ОтветитьGreat technique with the stencils - Thanks!
ОтветитьThe background with the texture paste is amazing!
ОтветитьGreat video! I like how you did 4 different ones! Very pretty! God bless and have a great week!😀❤🙏
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьI'm with you on how frustrating it is that they don't cover your page. Even worse, not all of them tesselate either.
ОтветитьVery pretty! I know the stencils are made for tags, and that is why I haven't bought them. You did a beautiful job with these!
ОтветитьLol on the ball Natasha I thought 3D as soon as you removed The stencil bit of a trick on the old eyes there.
ОтветитьThe stencil might be more useful for a slimline card. 🤔
ОтветитьBrilliant ideas Tash, and great that you kept to the same colours for great comparison. You think things through very well! Can't wait to see the cards made with these lovely backgrounds. TFS.
ОтветитьI found the first episode with the stencils!
ОтветитьAww u coloured ur texture paste!.... thanks for all this info. Gorgeous effect. X
ОтветитьWell done.
ОтветитьI totally agree with Tims stencils
ОтветитьI've got that stencil, although mine is called doily. Great methods.
ОтветитьI believe the Tim Holtz stencil you used matches up for you to use it all the way to the left then line it up on the right & keep going.
ОтветитьThanks for this Tash, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with these backgrounds!
ОтветитьI generally like your videos. Sometimes I think you go a step or two to far and it sort of wrecks the outcome for me. I guess I'm a sort of basic, clean lines sort of carmaker. Thsnks!
ОтветитьWow Natasha. These are great. I can hardly wait to see the finished cards. Thanks so much. 😊
ОтветитьAs a fairly new cardmaker, I find your "step it up" ideas so helpful. Looking forward to seeing the cards you turn these into!
ОтветитьSuper backgrounds 😃
ОтветитьThank you so much! It was very helpful to see different techniques on the same stencil.
ОтветитьI’m so glad you showed us how to tint paste with the ink stamps; I was struggling to colour my texture paste last night. I used acrylic paint and play sand. I now have a veritable rainbow of paste colours at my fingertips - thank you Natasha x
ОтветитьSuper fun! I am thrilled with your imagination and creativity! I look forward to the follow up video with these made into cards! God bless!
ОтветитьFantastic tutorial, thank you!
ОтветитьI heard him say today on his live video the reason his stencils are the sizes they are is because he designed them to fit tags. I think he has two different sized stencils for two different sized tags. I think he might’ve also said he just uses different bits of the stencil at once & not the entire stencil - so that’s probably another reason that they’re not really card sized.
Not very helpful for you, bit at least it might answer the why. 🙂
I think his stencils are that side because the is more into tags vs cards
ОтветитьSo looking forward to see what amazing cards you come up with ❤️
ОтветитьThey all look so different and pretty! Can’t wait to see you turn them into cards🌻
ОтветитьStencils are made for tags/multimedia.
ОтветитьSo btfl..🥰🥰..thx
ОтветитьThe 2nd stenciled picture was my favourite but I love all your pictures and I will definitely look forward to seeing what you create with all these beautiful pictures
ОтветитьCool techniques and cant wait for the next video tyfs 🦋😀💜
ОтветитьIt looks like if you started farther to the right you could have lined up the stencil a 2nd time on the left and made it fit the full page....no?
ОтветитьGreat techniques Natasha! Can’t wait to see your cards created!! TFS!🥰👍🏾
ОтветитьThey are meant for tags , but they also match up when you move it side by side xx
ОтветитьBeautiful technique ❤️
ОтветитьI was so happy to find that your video was on ink blending today. I am hosting a crop this next weekend & one of the techniques I will be demonstrating is ink blending! I really like the shifting of the stencil!
I wanted to mention to you a couple of other things that you can do using stencils and the oxide inks. After blending a background, put a stencil on top of your background, then lay a baby wipe on top & lightly tap. When you remove the stencil, the baby wipe will have lifted some of ink and created that pattern on your background.
Another technique starts out just the same. You create a background by blending your oxide inks again. When finished, spray your mat with some water. Choose a stamp & dip it into the water like you would usually do with your ink pad. Then stamp the blended background. The water on the stamp will then lift some of the ink off of the background creating a pattern the same way it did with the baby wipe previously. These are quick & easy techniques that really create a unique look!
I recently purchased a card kit that features the technique of layering stencils. I have not used it yet but I will be giving it a go this week!
Thank you again for all of the techniques and cards you share with us. It is very much appreciated by us!
A must try
ОтветитьLess than a minute in, I was curious as to why Tim Holtz stencils only cover 80% of a card front.
And then I realized that they do not even ‘tile’! So it’s not as if you can list it up and place it next to where you just finished coloring to extend the pattern. Why would anyone even buy these?
