I agree that Krita can be the best free art application out there, but I'm trying years to use it, and I never can draw a simple circle, because of its issue of lagging and choping every trace that I make.
I've tried every version of Krita from 2 until now, searched in a lot of forums on how to fix it, I used several tablets from wacom to xp-pen in mac, windows and linux platforms, and in several computers (12)... and I never can get it to work.
So I stay with Clip Studio Paint waiting for some day when Krita becomes usable for me.
krita keeps breaking
ОтветитьYou forgot Blender's Grease Pencil
ОтветитьThe cat: "I told you not to touch my brushes! Give back"
ОтветитьI know you discounted Blender, because it is a 3DTool but have you taken a look at Blender's Grease Pencil which is a drawing tool?
ОтветитьNeither Krita nor Sketchbook are free on Windows (as of 27 November, 2023). Just saying.
ОтветитьThe issues you mention for MyPaint sound like tablet-driver-issues. Those can screw up any paint program, if they aren't updated and configured correctly.
ОтветитьNever had problems with MyPaint. Be it Linux or Windows.
ОтветитьI needed to see this video a lot as a broke minor who cant pay for his subscriptions yet. thank you.
ОтветитьKrita needs an iOS version for iPad
ОтветитьThank you... I'm thinking of using mainly Krita and a free vector (Android) app that places the least amount of vector points losslessly.
ОтветитьI honestly think, in the long run, digital art is cheaper than traditional art. And give more options for beginners who need aid improving their skills.
ОтветитьI thought this was a top 5 LMAO like I was thinking: Where's the other 4???
Ответитьit work on my pc thx bro vеry much
Ответитьi cant be the only one here for hw
ОтветитьHow? Could you please give ? It will be very helpfull!
Ответитьi thought krita was an animating software?
Ответитьthis was an extremely helpful review, thank you!
ОтветитьIt really worked for me after I look and try some tutorials, yours is the one that worked. Owe you a lot.
ОтветитьI do have a question about Krita. I've used it since I first bought my drawing tablet, a Huion HS611 which worked wonders. Now, it all started wonderfully, granted sometimes Krita glitched out a bit or simply wouldn't work with my tablet. But it has gotten worse and I've reinstalled my tablet drivers and everything an Krita simply doesn't work well anymore, I've even reinstalled Krita, deleted any extra files except projects I've been working on and it's the same. Either pressure won't work or in general I can't draw or it won't even click with my laptop mouse, or the rotation won't work properly... Just very downhill, and Im wondering if there's anything else I could try to fix that, because even compared to photoshop, Krita is superior when it comes to actual drawing process and I don't want ti fully give up on it.
Thanks to anyone in advance!
Krita doesn't let me create a canvas it allows me to mess with the settings but won't open a canvas
ОтветитьReasons TO NOT USE Krita (I am quitting it now because of these issues) 1: outsourced customer support that doesn't solely focus on the product 2: major issues like crashes and the help center wants the user to provide back traces and the links they have to help noobs find such a program are confusing and of no help 3: tools that don't properly function since the update 4: doesn't notify non-paying users of any updates since before the 4.2 release. yes... you HAVE to pay to be told about updates. I up graded to a 5.0 version only after being told by the customer service that they didn't support my 4.2 version that I'd had (and of course didn't know there was update because I wasn't a paying customer).
ОтветитьThis was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thanks!!!
ОтветитьThank you <3
ОтветитьThanks for this review - I had stumbled across Krita and was looking to see whether it was as good as it seemed, so your video helped a lot to crystalise that. Cheers man!
ОтветитьWeird
ОтветитьGIMP is a 3d art utility now? Are you out your freaking mind??
Ответитьlove the fact, that I can do the same kind of art on both my main Linux tower system as I can on my Windows tablet, with out trying to learn anything new shortcut or tools wise
ОтветитьThis works. Recommended to try this out. Thanks a lot for your help
Ответить'autodesk' sketchbook is back in license. it is $20 usd ;)
ОтветитьThanks a lot!!
Ответитьpersonally i love to use ms paint, its actually fun to get good at
ОтветитьAs someone who has used Photoshop, Medibang and Krita, I can say that for free options Medibang is just better, Krita was an absolute hell to work with (specially animating with it was like pulling teeth). And for making comics I enjoyed the free part of Medibang a 100 times more than photoshop.
Ответитьrespect to you
ОтветитьThe reason I don't like Krita is I draw exclusively on my tablet and personally I find the computer style interface unusable and ugly
ОтветитьOmg I are so talented and am like so bad trust I... Can't even draw a apple😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ответитьyou explained. Thank you so much.
Ответитьcreating a second track to add into the recording as I play through the first tract?
ОтветитьWow, so well done! Thanks for posting, man! Very helpful.
ОтветитьSo we still out here struggling with ourselves or has anyone conquered? Lol
ОтветитьI really thought I was the only one. Like I was buggin'.
ОтветитьGR8 IDEA TYTY
ОтветитьInstalled, everything works, thanks!
ОтветитьThank you for introducing me to krita :)
ОтветитьIs Krita not free anymore?
ОтветитьI personally dislike krita because it doesnt have an eraser and you have to use a regular brush and to me an eraser is one of the most important tools i use
ОтветитьMy only issue with Krita is that the fill tool kinda sucks
ОтветитьI was unfortunately completely unable to use Krita because I have dual screens. No matter how I calibrated my tablet, it would stretch the draw space to both of my screens. It would also be overly sensitive to my tablet's pen pressure no matter the settings.
I love FireAlpaca for a free app choice but I also used to love using Photoshop to paint.
