TESTING EVERY FREE DRAWING APP

I came here because ibis paint decided to give up and no longer works so I'm looking for a alternative.

Ibis paint is my go-to. I even made my profile picture with it

with ibis paint brushes the "try for free brushes" actually last 18 hours until you have to watch another video
and also watching one add unlocks all of them!

wdym you cant export? you can?

Does anyone know a good alternative to an ipad. I got a handmedown ipad from a friend but it booted me off and i cant even get in.

I use ibis pain as my go to, but it is targeted towards manga artists lol

I use IBIS paint to draw, and it does a pretty good job.

Next to the play button in ibis paint you see a square and an arrow, click that and then it will save either the photo or speed paint!

(Unfortunately late) But as someone who had to use the sketches program for years I found out that they did have another layer but was pretty inconvenient to start with changing the layer. You would go into layers and change the layer to the bottom one btw

On ibisPaint if you watch a ad for a brush it unlocks all of them temporarily

I used to use sketchbook but every picture that you create is saved to photos and if you delete it it will remove it from the app

as an autodesk user, i was very happy to see you put it in A tier! it’s definitely not as high quality as ibis paint X but i’ve been using sketchbook for years and it works awesome!

I use Sketchbook for my drawings! (I like my art ad-free, sorry ibis fan.) I draw with my right hand index finger (yes, finger, I LIKE THE FRICTION) so the undo thing isn’t too much of a problem for me. Also, I don’t export my images most of the time, I save them and screenshot them.

You can also adjust the tools if you aren’t content with them! Would recommend.

I use IArtbook!!! It’s really good

Little hack for Tayasui, screenshot your sketch and use photo import to make it a bottom layer! (This works for backgrounds too)

Ibis Paint X actually pretty good. You just haven’t drawn on it enough to get used to it.

i used to use sketches in middle school
you can copy empty layers to use multiple layers

I personally hate ibsPaint i cant make a thumbnail for my videos (what I use it for) and the comic thing is impossible to use and its very hard and complicated would not recommend but still good

I use autodesk sketchbook because on my drawing device like android ipad, thats not the name but idk it came with it and ibis paint x has a major delay on the device. Autodesk is really nice, ermm I think it added double tap feature now also

Lavender, if you practice drawing in one layer it will be easier to do. I speak from experience.(However I don’t recommend signing out of iCloud as it results in deleted drawings, oh and even if you don’t have Pro Sketches you can post to community, if you have an older version that is. Can’t post without iCloud account activated though.).

I uh Use Sketches

I use Krita, and though it took me a whole to figure out how to master it; I really love the program and highly recommend it for PC users.
I would recommend looking up videos to learn how to animate since there really isn't no tutorial for anything.😊

Naaah bro, I got an ibis paint add right before she went to the ibis paint 😂

I used to use Ibis but switched over to Autodesk Sketchbook. Ibis just always felt so clunky and I really didn't like the brushes, plus I don't have to watch any adds when I'm just trying to draw. Lavender's only gripes with the program have been fixed in later updates or made easier to do in the settings so it's pretty awesome.

I think the best for now is ibis paint

all left handed people probably felt just like her while she tried out Autodesk

For sketchbook, you actually can do double tap for undo so- maybe cuz I’m on iPad?
