I love these conversations! I've watched every dialogue between the two of you and would love to see more. Love from Montana.
ОтветитьI don’t mean this to be negative at all. I just don’t think the gravity of what setting this kind of precedent is being fully understood.
Put it this way, if weaponizing the FBI and the DOJ become “normal” (there is no evidence Biden did this whatsoever), then in 4-8 years you could have a president say, command by fiat that all trans kids receive HRT.
The founders thought very long and very hard about this. In a sense, you’re only ever one despot away from the whole experiment coming down. It doesn’t happen all at once. It’s little by little.
Governments are not corporations and they absolutely should never been run like one.
ОтветитьIts all mererly a function of intelligence. We simply need to understand the connection between intelligence and assesment of validity.
IQ is simply an abstraction
’’I have, since answering these questions, realized that my “IQ” chart really takes what’s known as “little g”, and correlates it to the IQ range. So it’s really a “little g” chart instead of IQ. This doesn’t matter in terms of how the estimation process works or what it means, just that it’s not a great representation of IQ because IQ itself is only an estimation of “g”.’’— Elliott Kelley
50–70: actions
70–90: labels
90–110: feelings
110–130: logic
130–150: patterns
150–170: fuzzy logic
170–190: fuzzy patterns
190–210: “heart of the problem”It’s the ability to think in terms of non-concepts. like thinking about “an apple that isn’t an apple”. Division by 0 ought to make sense at this level. Another way to think about it is: the mandelbrot fractal measures the number of steps taken to arrive at a fail state. So what if we consider the space of all not-answers to a question, and measure relative differences between them using various metrics? the metric used, and the fractal generated, should be the basis of thought of a 210–230 “g” person. This requires a grasp of the heart of the concept, and uses it to contrast with everything that is not that concept. It’s a fractal map of everything from the hart of the concept to everything else.’’—Elliott Kelley
At the 250-300 range it all about 'breaks';........seeing contradictions intuitively is simply a form of synesthesia that I have. Perhaps everyone experiences this to some degree, and if so, you may be able to learn how to recognize it. Basically, when a contradiction occurs, do you notice something I call a “break" in your stream of consciousness? You must be very in tune with your own consciousness. Probably learning to do anything else that requires concentration will help build awareness. Once you have awareness of “breaks" you can use them as a type of superpower that will drastically increase your core intelligence. But this is all assuming you can find a way to experience these “breaks".-- John smith
Lol. How is Pete Hegseth a threat to democracy? He wants to get rid of generals who he thinks are under performing. Yeah that's some real insidious shit!
ОтветитьJJ’s point about Trump centralizing power by instilling loyalists is spot on. Strengthening corporate power through figures like Elon Musk and other billionaires, hyper focus of Christian nationalism, targeting intellectuals and academia, lying with impunity, branding immigrants and Dems as enemies, etc are all fascist light behaviors and a threat to democracy. It’s unclear why Jung seems to downplay this aspect.
ОтветитьHey Paul, how much do you use or understand the archetype system of Lover/Magician/Warrior/King ? Just curious if you use it ever to conceptualize yerself or other people. Thanks dawg,
~N
This is the wildest e-dating sesh I've seen in my life
ОтветитьJJ ❤
ОтветитьHave either of you read Hegel or Schelling? They talked about memes before Dawkins. Hegel called it Geist.. you described Joe Rogan as a meme. Hegel said that about Napoleon. Absolute Geist on horseback. It’s a phenomenon surrounding great men.
ОтветитьIf Jung wants to become a philosophy guy he needs to stop talking about politics and especially stop making smug, sweeping declarations about politics
ОтветитьHonestly, viewing this, I think you guys need to agree that we're going to do "Hour 1 is JJ,'s 'this is what's happening now that is having a massive effect on right now'" which is good lead into "Hour 2 is Paul's 'let's look 5 years into the future and see how the trend lines and the memes might affect things'".
ОтветитьPF, you gotta get rid of the soycut bro
ОтветитьThe best one of these you've done. I much prefer when Paul doesn't spend harp on about JJ, a famous conservative, being left wing.
ОтветитьLet’s see, JJ doesn’t think that the US military is currently politicized, yet the clearly “woke” political ideology which infected the military has forced recruiting off a cliff. The vax mandates forced out many career military members and the tax payers are funding gender transition care for current service-people. Trump/Hegseth are trying to save the military and ensure the protection of American citizens. I understand he is Canadian, but I can’t believe he is this r-tarded.
ОтветитьI guess anything is better than PF glazing destiny all day.
Ответить>mfw a Westcoast Canadian says 'aboot' like he's from Sunnyvale Trailer Park.
ОтветитьThe second PF called himself autistic, I started playing with my radio in total despair 😂😂😂 also- what the hell is JJ pulling this stuff from, the projection of intent was almost astonishing. Is that all this is now? Just the phobia of all things dubbed “loyalist” … it’s a totally manufactured slogan
ОтветитьPOP psychology
ОтветитьI feel like the meme war is more a result of the definition of Dawkin's "Meme"
Ответить"I have no particular problem with Jesus" -JJ
And yes, I do love these conversations and hope that you guys continue on with them!
I’m diagnosed Schizophrenic, and my therapist says she thinks I’m also autistic…. 😂
ОтветитьI think jj should be prepared to confront Paul on issues where he is speaking confidently despite clearly knowing nothing about anything
ОтветитьAlways enjoy the conversations between you two
ОтветитьI thought JJ was bad with the way he pronounces about “aboot” and then my man pronounces niche “nish” 🤦♂️
ОтветитьI always enjoy seeing you guys ramble about any kind of bullshit, definitely glad to see this and hoping for more.
I relate to you Paul as someone who is also "sort of" tuned in to politics but not nearly to the extent of someone like JJ. My media diet consists of stuff like Twitter posts and, well, videos like this one.
Good conversation. How ever jj do give me big brother vibes.
ОтветитьJesus...it's not about the ideas it's about the memes, the feelings in iconographic memory that constitute them, those which are stronger and faster reproduce better kinda like semen XD ...am i the only one understanding pf jung? and so the enlighthened centrist is the anti centrist, in lack of better appliance, hence how much you can spread radical memetics the more you spread people towards edges, and the less info is populated the more fogged centrist u are
ОтветитьPF jung took a joke (autism and scizophrenia dependence) and made it his world view. what a buffoon
Ответитьthis is kinda painful to listen to at times lol. paul’s a bit of a knob and pretty clear some of jj’s points sailed way above his level of comprehension
Ответитьnice to know aboot you guys
ОтветитьMeme is short for mimesis
ОтветитьGod everyone on the internet having some sort of mental disorder is getting oh so sad , tired , and cringe. Just….why lol
ОтветитьIts astonishing to me that Paul cant see the problem with purging the military and filling it with loyalists lmfaooo
ОтветитьPF is stopping streaming cuz Destiny wrecked u.
ОтветитьAlso, to conservatives, being "political" just means being gay and allowed to have a job, for example
