We have 2 cruises booked during the doubling period and we received an email from Princess congratulating us on our double up but nothing was received for our second cruise. So I called and was told you only get it on one cruise, and our TA had told it was good for both so hubby called and he was told both qualified!
Any idea what is true???

The promotion had 0 to do with our recent booking 16 days RT Hawaii from Vancouver or choosing Plus, but since it's just our 3rd cruise, we're happy to receive the extra bump towards Elite.

I have mixed feelings about the promotion. We've largely been loyal to Princess in a frantic first 27 months of cruising, and were just a few off being Elite, with two trips booked in the offer period, so that will accelerate us. BUT it also, 
a) devalues the Loyalty Programme, by messing with the achievement numbers, and
b) will move more people to higher status positions (a bit lik ethe joke about a budget airline 'up-selling EVERYONE priority boarding!),
c) worst of all, I think this short-term sales 'trick' just hastens the day when Princess won't want to continue to fund the benefits it does now, and later this year - or next - I suspect we'll see them cutting back those benefits, maybe to a point where they are no longer very worthwhile.

A couple of things, 1, they should extend the double special thru March 2026 so our Antartica cruise would be covered in the Plus package. Princess is offering the wrong things which is why they are not selling it. No one cares about fitness classes and premium desserts. They should drop that and add one spec dining and they would sell way more. 2. They need to add at least 2 more loyalty levels as well, and the top one offering a free cruise.

Compared EZ Air Toronto Athens departure then Rome Toronto on the return. Book direct with airline was $600 per person less then the exact same thing with EZAir. I have used EZAir several times and I have never seen such a big price difference. Yes, you dont pay until cruise final and they get you to the next port, but travel insurance will cover the latter as well if needbe. Lesson here...compare both options. Buyer Beware!

Question: Do solo travelers get double the loyalty credits on cruises during this promo time? If we, as a couple, take two cruises during this time frame, would we get credit for 4? Thx!

If someone wants to quickly up their cruise numbers, there is a two day cruise between Seattle and Vancouver this fall. It would count 4 cruises for a solo traveler

Online passport renewal option is now available from the State Department with reports of quicker turn around times.

First and foremost, we have been elite members for a long time (452 ​​days).
I think it's a bad idea to give those bonus days and cruises for bookings between August and December. All elite members who have cruised all those days are dissatisfied that with money you can simply end up in that elite class without the necessary cruise days. In this way, the elite class is no longer anything special and will soon be a far too large group. They should at least create an even more exclusive class for the real frequent cruisers. Now everything is being done to sell even more of those (much too expensive) packages. If you are not an alcoholic, these packages are of no use to you.
I also noticed in the regulations that there is a contradiction! In one place it says that the bonus is available to everyone, but then a little further down in the small print it says that this is only available to residents of the US, Canada and Australia???
This is my first message to you and I am curious whether I will get a response to this.
We just did 14 days on the Sun Princess and will go on the Island Princess in August and again on the Sun Princess for 23 days in September.

Being Elite already paying for the Plus or Premier hasn’t much value for a non drinker

What is your source the promo/bonus days will not count towards MTG qualification? When I read the FAQ’s there is the specific question, I am Elite , how does this affect me? The answer recognizes you have achieved the highest tier but your credits are still tallied, which imply to me these bonus/double days WILL count towards MTG calculations?

The greatest pizza party was across the fleet not just on the Sun. On the Sky Princess heading back to South Hampton. It was quite the big deal. Unfortunately was shortly after our prime rib dinner. We did find room to participate though 😊

I am sailing on a Princess Cruise during the promo dates but haven't opted for the plus or premier package as we don't drink alcohol.. Its a shame we will miss out on cruise points because of this..

EZ Air -- good news, bad news: 1) I was so happy for EZ Air cancellation and no charge when the cruises were canceled during the pandemic. 2) I love being able to shop for air fare and not need to pay anything until final payment. 3) I love that extra 30 days to cancel the flight for a full refund (if there is an amazing fare sale in the interim). However, when I cruise out of Los Angeles / San Pedro, Long Beach is a better airport choice in my opinion (closer to the port and less drama than LAX). I also like flying with Southwest, and EZ Air doesn't recognize them. Southwest has more flexibility for changing flights, and if I cancel a flight, I get full credit for another flight. And ... for those who check bags, there are two free checked bags per person. Yes, I am a fan. So... as you said, Alison, there are good and bad points about EZ Air.

I have used the cruise lines airfare at least 10 times or more. Never had an issue with any flight. The one thing I will say is I usually use it for a one way international flight, I book the other portion from my home of SFO to where I am catching the ship or from the port the cruise docked in. back to SFO. International Has always been way cheaper, but I have not found that to be the same in the US, ie SFO to FLL OR MIA. For this portion I usually use miles, and if they are having a sale I might be better off just paying for the ticket rather than using miles. I have also found if you book round trip let’s say SFO to FLL and then Rome back to SFO (doing a trans Atlantic) the price for me to do 2 one way tickets has been a lot Cheaper than doing a round trip ticket through the cruise line. This holds true for all the lines I have sailed with, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Holland America and a couple of others.
