It makes me, from Germany, so happy that Femke Bol has her deserved Olympic Gold! Nobody deserves it more, except Sydney McLaughlin of course, who leaves Paris with even two Gold, also deserved.
Watching these two is pure joy, even if it is not a real duel between the two. Lieke Klaver and the two men were also great, but without Femke Bol... I don't need to say more. What a star!

The most disappointing thing was that Ireland(European gold and World bronze medalists) were missing Adeleke in the heats and didn't qualify for the final 😓

I'm German by because we suck I'm Happy with Femke and the Netherlands.

Femke Bol just does not get slower and she looks so relaxed compared to the others. Always mesmerizing to watch how calm she looks running the 400m.

These two Dutch women, Klaver and Bol, absolutely deserved double gold medals. They not only run faster than their peers, but also closed the gap caused due to their men teammates.

In Boedapest World championships 2023, Femke did fell in winning position in the relay, just 15 meters for the finish line. This is the ultimate revenge beating the American team now in Paris. While the American cheeked away with Bol falling, with a World record 1 year ago.

When watching live, as soon as Femke Bol was running that final bend I just knew she was going to do it and had no doubt in my mind

I think they should let the teams choose the order. It adds a bit of extra tactical spice , and professional athletes at this level don't worry about "humiliation"!

I love how the commentators are completely wary of what Bol is capable of well before her explosive finish because shes done the exact same thing before. Her stride and hip flex is rediculous, other runners fade and shes not even flat out till the last push. One of my favourite current athletes

the race is cooked ....anyone on that inside lane is at a disadvantage

The runner going round the OUTSIDE has a disadvantage, because he or she will have to make more distance. Still Bol ran a 47.9 anchor split. The only thing that was cooked her where Bol´s competitors (the American runner Caylyn Brown is the current 2nd fastest 400m runner in the US!) because they had no defence against that lap by Bol.

everyone that ran the 400m with some ambition know how out of this world Femke Bol runs. while everyone else just tries to stay alive on the final straight, she just flies. it’s incredible.

One of the best races anyone will see this year.
