ОтветитьI made tiramisu recently, but instead of cocoa in the middle, i put some lemon curd. That sweet sour lemon flavour was perfect with the bitter coffee and cocoa powder.

ОтветитьMy tiramisu recipe, all egg.
Take 6 yolks, retain 3 whites. Mix the yolks with 3tbsp of white sugar until pale yellow, 2-5 mins, set aside. Mix 3 whites with 3 tbsp of sugar until it makes stiff peaks, consistency of cool whip. Fold that by hand into the egg yolk mix. Make 6-9 shots of espresso, I use a moka pot. Add 1-2 shots each of amaretto and khalua into the coffee. Let it cool. Dip ladyfingers in for 1.5 seconds. It’s a fine line between too soggy and not enough, gotta get it just right. Lay them out in a deep pan and Then layer on your cream mix. Add as many layers as you want. Sprinkle top with cocoa powder, let sit in the fridge for 4-6 hours at least. I’m going to steal Vivaldi’s trick of some ground espresso and report back for next time too, so maybe do that.

ОтветитьMy hubby loved this dessert. I never liked it. But watching you make your recipe, i would eat yours. I love all the cream in yours. Someday ill visit your place in Montreal. Im 100 miles south in Burlington, Vermont. ❤. It was in San Francisco that i ate it. It didnt measure up to yours.
