With any shaving, to help with your skin and reduce ingrown hairs, I recommend a few things that have helped me a lot.

Stubble is thick. A hot shower first goes a long way to soften it and that helps cut it and reduce skin irritation.

I love wet shaving, so something like this eucalyptus and peppermint shave cream from @GetWhollyKaw helps create a protective barrier for a better shave.

My razor was my @bambawzerowaste DE razor with hair guides. Use lighter pressure and tighten the skin.

Post care I would recommend avoiding after shaves with alcohol as this can irritate your skin.
