My Wilson dynapower looks identical to older cobra s9 club design

The first irons I ever bought was a set of pinemeadow pgx(not pxg)irons from Walmart 5-P for 180 bucks! Stupid cheap. Granted it was 2017 but I still have them and still hit them as good as my sim2s which kind of annoys me and makes me want to play everything budget. At the time I was also playing bombtech woods which story goes the same for those. Bombtech irons stink but the woods are pretty awesome especially the older grenade 2. They’ve since made a cheaper grenade version driver

The kirkland signatures, like the p790s are most definitely for higher handicaps.

Ok seeing maltby at 4 is good. Also a company that had makes their own stuff in house with real R&d and their wedges are pro grade for real some good stuff ok you came back with that one.

So why all the fuss and angst about how the Kirkland Signature irons look and their apparent similarity to the P790s?

Yet, to my mind, they look just as much like several other models on this list (Takomo, Gigagolf, Ram, Caley, Sub 70, etc.). Does that not mean that all of these look like the P790s too? So why no fuss or lawsuit?

Played Wilson for years. Guess I like an underdog. I purchased my set of brand new D9 forged irons for $500.

The only way to compare these clubs is if they all have the same shaft, same grip and size, the same swingweight and the same vibration frequency.

I just bought the Tommy Armour 845 Max iron set with graphite shafts for $250 on sale since they are releasing the new model. They are great clubs.

The 845's recently went on sale down for $249 (I think due to the 2024's now available). I was nearly set on the KE4 Max until I saw the price drop

I was a decent golfer in my teens and early 20's. I'm coming off a 15yr hiatus, looking for a nice forgiving club for myself, now that my kids are getting interested in golf and I want to join them. Torn between the two now. Would you say the KE4 is noticeably more forgiving? With the big price drop would you choose different?

The Stix clubs look just like a Maltby TE+ V4 iron head that is a really great club for cheap!

So The Takomo 101 over the Wilson Dynapower?

I have the 845’s and have been playing them for 2 years now and love them.
Wanting to switch it up so I ordered the takamo 101s now that I’m stringing the ball better. Super stoked to see them at the number 1 spot.

How would the 101T iron stack up in your list of clubs . where would you slot them in?

Try the Pinemeadow PGX's. I use them and really like them. It would be interesting to hear what you think.

I bought the Takomo 101 irons a while back, and I have to say..... I cannot hit them!!!! I don't know what it is. Maybe it's my fault. I got them 1/2 inch longer and 1 degree flat. Maybe if I'd purchased the standard length, and standard lie, the might work. But, the just don't.... I've never hit so many clankers in my life. Maybe I just suck...
