My future home country
ОтветитьIt's a pimple in the mid atlantic.
ОтветитьBermuda is one of the warmest places on Earth for its high latitude of 32.4°N. Its climate is so unusually warm that even tropical coconut palms grow and produce fruit there. This remarkable warmth is primarily due to its location in the path of the Gulf Stream, which brings warm ocean currents directly to the island.
ОтветитьHaving sailed from va to the Caribbean many times i always got nervous close to Miami😂
ОтветитьBurmuda various connects to Michael Douglas, the actor, that’s where his mother came from. That’s where he used to have property, and that is why he has dual American and British citizenship?
ОтветитьBermuda is beautiful. If you like snorkeling, Bermuda is the place to go. They have both tropical and northern species of sea life, and soft corals. Winter weather is generally on the mid sixties to low seventies. It's fairly expensive to visit. Most of the food is imported and hotels are pricey. We prefer to stay in guest houses (B&Bs). I prefer the water on the north facing beaches. It tends to be crystal clear, and emerald green in color.
ОтветитьI visited forty years ago and got around in a moped. The speed limit was 20 mph so very safe. You can traverse the entire island in one hour.
ОтветитьVery cool place
ОтветитьNice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there
ОтветитьBermuda is weird. No rivers, all water is from rain. Being from Jamaica, the land of wood and water, being there was weird as heck.
ОтветитьI feel like Bermuda would probably be one of the safest places to be if nuclear war broke out
ОтветитьI have a coworker from Bermuda, that accent is real. 😅
ОтветитьI hate to break it to you but Bermuda doesn’t have pink sand anymore thanks to years of tourists taking home pink sand as a souvenir. They it took nature 10,000 years to create the pink sand and only 50yrs for humans to destroy it.
ОтветитьDo they not have any local agriculture or manufacturing so that they don’t have to import everything?
ОтветитьMy country...live here love here
ОтветитьAn island.
ОтветитьI was expecting at least some description of the earth's surface features that created Bermuda but there was nothing. Human activity is included in the definition of geography but it usually includes what's happening with the earths crust. Is Bermuda formed by volcanoes, tectonic plate interaction or what?
ОтветитьBermuda is my favorite vacation location and have spent a lot of time there. It can be pricy, but if you get rental house and use public transportation, it’s quite affordable to have a very nice vacation.
ОтветитьI wouldn't want to live around a bunch of rich people. I prefer nature.
ОтветитьI've been there many times. In the early 90s law permitted one car per household; a few years later, the law changed to permit one car per licensed driver - which changed the vibe and traffic on Bermuda. In recent visits, it was still a beautiful place.
Ответитьi spent 5 days there once.
it was nice lodging and produce is expensive.
So basically Bermuda is still run by Purates . 🤔
Ответитьmy uncle got a house in bermuda i wanna go this summer
ОтветитьBermuda was originally part of Virginia in colonial days. Served as a midway stopping point for cross ocean voyages.
ОтветитьThe closest US point to Bermuda is Nantucket Island.
ОтветитьMy ancestor, Thomas Hurd, did a complete hydrographic survey of the waters surrounding Bermuda.
ОтветитьWhat were the original people there? Europeans or the Slave Market trade ?
Is it mostly Caucasian or like the Bahamas?
My country is mad expensive, be prepared to spend 😂
ОтветитьThat’s our old 10$ bill sir 😂😂😂
ОтветитьNeed to be loaded to go there
ОтветитьBermuda has my ideal climate
ОтветитьIt's a tiny C -shaped island on the same latitude at Charleston SC. Pack your wallet and enjoy!
ОтветитьNice video. A good video suggestion for History Matters: "Why didn't Bermuda join the American Revolution"?
ОтветитьWe lose 900 tankers a year - the ocean is dangerous
ОтветитьWent to Bermuda last year. It is beautiful and the people are polite and helpful. It truly is a small country of its own. They have their own currency, national identity, Olympic team, government. And every single person will tell you how much they love their country Bermuda. 🇧🇲
ОтветитьWow I had no idea it was so close to NC I thought it was literally next to the Bahamas…
ОтветитьAs someone who lives in Bermuda. I'll have to tell my bank account that I'm supposed to be rich.😂
ОтветитьI live in Bermuda feel free to ask any questions
ОтветитьDoes Bermuda have an airport?
Ответитьbeautiful place but, those winters are not for me.
ОтветитьBermuda Triangle has no more mysterious disappearances than any other similar sized region with similar air and marine traffic.
ОтветитьBermuda is beautiful but not mysterious by any means. It's very expensive, not really much to do there, the island for all intents and purposes is completely built up, driving is a bit sketchy because of narrow two lane roads often without shoulders plus full of blind spots. It's boring because its main black residents don't have much money and therefore religion is their main source of entertainment. Most places close by 6 PM, restaurants close by 8 or 9. Few bars are open later. You can drive from one end of the island to the other in a bit over half hour.
ОтветитьYeah the English inbreed monarchs still lay claim to this land. They should separate and make it their own country
I’m sure America would help them lay Providence to their own land
We need to stop the ownership as countries that are far away it’s not the 1400’s anymore
ОтветитьStatisticaly the region has no higher incidence of shipwrecks or missing aircraft than anywhere else.
ОтветитьNope can't spend my hard earn money to live on a dressed up sand bank I need tsunami protection
ОтветитьOh, Bermuda, another future 🇺🇸 American state
ОтветитьBased on the research I have read, the Bermuda Triangle is not statistically different to any other similarity traversed stretch of ocean in terms of accidents or strange phenomena. Its reputation has been built from unverified urban legends and selective data picking. There is simply nothing unusual about this area. One source even claimed it is statistically safer to fly or boat across it than most ocean areas of the world.
ОтветитьGreat nutshell video. Everything i needed to know
ОтветитьVery interesting, going for our first time in July
