He's a good man...
ОтветитьSeen him in Sioux City late 70's didn't know much about him went to see the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Well we walked in on one of his jams and we're stunned he was amazing one of the best shows I've seen. This band is super tight and he has not lost anything right on the money.
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьSaw Dave at this same theatre March 2024, one month ago, STILL just as great ! The man's voice remains the same strong baritone as well as guitar viturouso...fantastic show !! Also have loved his music since the '70s. He is in a class of his own. Thank you for sharing this, Rich -- phenomenal show and performances by you & all of the band !
ОтветитьI'm so glad he's he decided not to retire I saw him when he was retired he looks much better in this place right now play music always makes things better go get him Mr Mason
ОтветитьPlay that song )
Ответитьterrific performance...it is amazing to me that despite the years, Dave's voice and control is so perfect t. He is one of my favorite all time musician and songwriters. His inability to fully integrate into Traffic is actually a blessing-otherwise we wouldn';t have his impressive body of work. I do love Steve Winwood, but again, they are different and I can live with that...
ОтветитьOMG, this concert was absolute fire. Dave's voice is as powerful and soulful as ever, and I think his guitar skills as a soloist have improved since I first heard him. And his backing band is as good as it can get, solid all the way around. I always wondered why we never really heard Dave's guitar skills in Traffic. Was Winwood too dominating?
ОтветитьI have so many secrets and Dave Mason and AL Stewart are part of the soundtrack.
ОтветитьTHANKS FOR POSTING THIS MAGNIFICENT CONCERT !!!! 10 OUT OF 10
ОтветитьThanks for posting. These musicians with that setlist. What a special show. Also sounds great!
ОтветитьThanks for uploading this.
ОтветитьLike a fine wine, just keeps
gettin better.
If you have to set at a traffic jam you want Dave in the middle of it
ОтветитьPerfectly horrible song. I have always heard it split the band. Now I have an understanding why. I can't believe it's a Dave Mason song.
ОтветитьI've been a Dave Mason fan since entering college in 1974. Some kid from Delaware turned me on to Dave. "Headkeeper" is still on my everyday playlist. Rich, awesome bass playing, keeping the bottom tight while playing some fantastic melodic licks to counter Dave's guitar. Thanks for the upload. Rock on! Dave was spot on... R&R is an attitude, not an age.
ОтветитьA great concert, Rich - thanks for posting this better version. Brilliant playing by everyone and really loved your bass!
ОтветитьStill Love listening to the music of my youth!
ОтветитьDave is one of our "GOAT"
ОтветитьLoved it live here in Florida! Have seen you three times, caught you back in the 70's in DC!!
ОтветитьBeautiful BOLSHOY! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
ОтветитьThis music from the 70s was SO FAR AHEAD OF TIME! I'm digging it 😎 👌 thanks Dave & Co. ✌️✌️🤞🤟🖕

Rich, this was a great show. Thanks so much for posting. His guitar tone is awesome. Are you still playing these days? This group was first class.
ОтветитьDave Mason is such an amazing musician. He hasn't lost anything and in my opinion, he's the best at using a Wah Wah pedal. Using it under main riffs and phrasings when necessary.
ОтветитьSaw Dave in the 70’s. Little Feet opened up. In Boston. Loved him for years. This concert shows how he can rock along with great hits. Love sent to all his fans.
ОтветитьThis is great! Thanks!
ОтветитьThat bass has more strings than a piano.
Ответитьsaw dave in ft worth texas at the ridglea theater in 76. like sitting in his livingroom.
ОтветитьExtraordinario, mas de 30 años siguiendo a Dave Mason, MUSICAZO

I KNOW it will be sensational, as all your shows are!!
James
dave sounds as much americana as half the ones actually born here.\M/
ОтветитьI met Johnne last night at Dave's concert in Greensburg, PA. What a nice guy! SO talented!
ОтветитьExcellent band Dave...
ОтветитьPsss, now that's a great testimony to Joe Cocker that Dave covers the cover of his own song, fantastic. Rock it baby!
ОтветитьPss. I heard Richie Havens say he wrote All Along the Watchtower. He said in the days of the village and the bitter end the folk artists would exchange songs; it was a community.
ОтветитьPs yo Dave this band is pretty darn good. Traffic who.....hahaha
Ответить21 years ago......Dear Lord!
ОтветитьMason got pipe, in his 70's too
ОтветитьLove Dave !
ОтветитьThanks! When I was 19 I saw Dave Mason when he played in downtown San Diego. Before they redeveloped Horton Plaza & gentrification. Great music 1972-‘73 it was!
ОтветитьDave Mason was awesome 46 years ago and hes awesome now.
