Dawn: "Horses..."
Me: Nope.
Filmed in Scotland, ironically.
ОтветитьThere is a box set
Ответить..phucking thief ... stolen videos 🖕 👎🖕 👎🖕 👎🖕 👎🖕 👎🖕 👎🖕 👎🖕 👎.
ОтветитьThe budget was so small for this first Monty Python movie, they could only afford the horse the one day, so they added the coconut gag, which was good.
They also cut the Camelot scene and cut the movie short on the battle scene for the same reason.
At 'Skit Humour' these guys are grande...but their movies were not.
ОтветитьThey filmed this in SCOTLAND 🎉
ОтветитьA lot of the animations are based on marginalia (bits written on the sides of medieval manuscripts) inscribed by the monks who wrote them. Especially the actually fitted rumoets.
ОтветитьIf someone mentions Monty Python and you simply nod, they immediately know you've never seen any Monty Python.
ОтветитьSo lame, you skipped the bunny rabbit scenes!😮
ОтветитьThe castle of Ohhooooohhh. Haha I think that's Terry Jones and it reminds me of his "fishy fishy ooooh" bit. Such absurd acting
ОтветитьI fart in your general direction.
ОтветитьMonty Python were skit comedians and they often had trouble writing endings for the skits. Their TV series ran on the BBC for 4 seasons. The movie is really a collection of short skits strung together by a very minimal plot. The ending is exactly what I expected the first time I saw the movie in London. It just ends because they ran out of ideas.
Ответить🇵🇸❤❤❤❤🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
ОтветитьBelieve it or not, the French Taunted is actually historically accurate. The French would hire people for the sole purpose of annoying potential visitors to the point they would lose all desire to speak with whoever it was
Ответитьis this like an advert to watching something else? cause it is cutting out all the jokes of it
Ответитьthey used the coconuts because they had less the 200 pounds total to film the movie, so they figured they would jus pay the foley artists that they would have had to hire anyway and then write the joke into the movie...the scene at castle anthrax is funny because the knight has sworn a vow of chastity, so of course he would be the one who happened upon a castle full of horney women...and the intermission scene is funny because intermissions were actually a thing back then, so they made theirs just long enough for the audience to get out of their seats before starting the movie again....and the ending with the music playing is funny because the same audience was like, I am not falling for that bit again, only to sit watching nothing happen for four minutes....
ОтветитьI haven't seen this in about 30 but still remember most the fight and "It's just a flesh wound." Mr Creasote saying "I con't eat another cracker" and "Run away". Oh yeah "I fart in your general direction" and "It's just a little rabbit"
ОтветитьI can't remember any other reaction I've seen to this movie where the reactor repeatedly whined that scenes weren't funny. And it's never a good sign when they keep checking to see how much runtime is left, especially for a movie that's only an hour and a half long.
ОтветитьSorry for not commenting on the video, but you are so pretty in this!
ОтветитьThe film is so funny. 😂
Ответить"Death awaits with big black teeth"
ОтветитьTry next Monty Python's Life Of Brian!
ОтветитьFinding your video and hearing your laugh has just made my day.
ОтветитьMonty Python is a comedy troup on BBC tv. show Monty Python and the Flying Circus They do funny sketches per episode. My favorite is Ministry of Silly Walks whre an applicant has enough of a silly walk in order to get a grant to develop it further.
Ответить"k-nig-hts" - knights. The French threw French known foods at the knights. So good!
ОтветитьWho else noticed the sun on king Arthur's costume has a mustache? Your welcome
ОтветитьThe same sword fight in every single movie...aside from The Princess Bride. ^_^ Ah, Monty Python is excellent. Their skits are definitely worth watching. The Dead Parrot skit is one of the most popular.
ОтветитьOMG.. I'm in LOVE..
ОтветитьOne of the funniest movies ever.
ОтветитьKing Arthur: I am your king.
Peasant Woman: Well, I didn't vote for you.
King Arthur: You don't vote for kings.
Peasant Woman: Well, how'd you become king, then?
[Angelic music plays... ]
King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. That is why I am your king.
Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
Arthur: Be quiet!
Dennis the Peasant: You can't expect to wield supreme power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!
Hello dawn Marie if you like old black and white movies and have a sense of humour try blythe spirit the 50s film I think you'll like it
ОтветитьThe key problem with the sword fight with the Black Knight is that it's a sword fight. A spear, pike or halberd is a much better weapon against armor.
Sword kind of bounce off most of the time.
I LOVE this movie, however, Sir Galahad's story is one that I don't find that funny either.
ОтветитьIt’s not about where he grips it….
It’s about weight ratio’s.
THEY MADE WEEKLY SHOWS THIER ALL ON NETFLIX
ОтветитьWho'da thunk God looked like Karl Marx?
ОтветитьGyygul 😂
ОтветитьYou are beautiful
Ответить😂
ОтветитьThe end is a literal “cop out”
Ответить"I wave my private parts at you!"
ОтветитьYou're 100% correct. They didn't have the money for the monster, so they (Terry Gilliam) did the cartoons. It was most certainly was a cost saving measure, as was clapping two coconuts together in lieu of renting actual horses, which means the lack of money is what spawned the genius of slapping a couple of coconuts together. John Cleese has said as much too... that if they'd have had the money, they would have simply rented the horses ... lol
ОтветитьWait! Time out! You skipped over the white rabbit scene. Oh no, that's the part I love watching 1st timers react to. 😢
ОтветитьMonty Python was definitely something that had to grow on me. The more i watched, the more i saw.
ОтветитьCastle Anthrax scene is great
ОтветитьThis is my favorite movie ever. I was 10 the first time I saw it in an alternative theater
Ответить0.30 that might be a pretty apt description, all of it
ОтветитьLovely watching your reaction as someone who's never seen Monty Python! I hope if you've re-watched it since you found the Castle Anthrax scene funnier! I always thought it was hilarious watching Michael Palin braving all the peril! 😁
