What species of giant isopod is this? I'm curious!

are these a different species of giant isopod that we can visit now?? :O I met the Giant isopods at MBA a couple months ago but if there are even MORE isopods now....may have to make another trip to Monterey

As someone who has volunteered at MBA over multiple summers I can say that the Isopod touch pool is easily one of my favorite exhibits to interpret. People are always so excited to see them even if they're sometimes too afraid to try petting them!
