But that's not the end of the story see West was a bad acholic I never seen where he wasn't drunk or getting drunk about five years ago this clown stabbed his girl in a fit of rage brutally killed her in front of her little daughter then he called the cops and before they got their he cut his wrist and neck like a coward thankfully the cops got there before he bleed out he doing life now as he should cause he did some real sucka shit.

I grew up in regent in the early 80's. you know its sad what immigrants have made it into. in the 80s hardworking men lived in the homes with their kids. the most popular thing on the weekends back than was men would build go karts for their kids and they would race them around the baseball court. it was competitive, everybody knew each other, as I grew up that disappeard. than it become a shell of the old town, it wasnt a town anymore, it was a ghetto. over time it just got worse. but regent used to be a community in cabbagetown and though cabbagetown was always rough it was all one. but than it became a immigrant dumping ground and no more men in the communities or sports or anything...gentrification is when the rich push out the poor but what is it called when the immigrants push out the poor?

River St. Known as the busiest Crack dealing street in the entire GTA during the 80s and 90s. The amount of Gangs not even mentioned in this video go far. Back and forth shootings during those years, body after body. North Side and South Side at war. Many who were childhood friends at war. The entire project was at war. North Side Riders. Little Rascalz, DPC, PARK LAND RECORDS. This ERA was the real era of Regent Park. Only a few who were actually living in the PARK can share such insight. There is so much to say.
