each Lizzy guitarist was great in his own way, after Snowy came John Sykes just a shame the band finished before he really got into his stride

Say what you want about Snowy or Scott's botched attempt at Black Rose, or Phil's downhill slide, there is one fact that always remained constant in a Thin Lizzy performance. And that fact is that Brian Downey is a bonafide badass on the drum kit. Even if at times his drums sounded crappy.

This has always been one of my favourite Lizzy tunes and the Live & Dangerous version is a classic. However, Snowy White was never a good fit for Lizzy. When I saw him play with them he never seemed engaged with the crowd and always going through the motions.
