I have a friend in college who almost lost all his hair.
He tried all possible products and methods to get hair back and failed.

I already have thick enough goddamn hair, I can’t take care of it though. Very thick hair, for a white guy at least. None of this shit will do anything. Stop coping. If you actually want to change your hair you'll need to take drugs.

Hair thickness is genetic, as is the number of hairs in a hair follicle.

The only thing you can try is oral minoxidil (ONLY if you don't have low blood pressure problems), it can really help increase the blood supply to the hair follicles - increasing hair diameter.

If your hair just looks bad, check your ferretin levels, vitamin D3, buy a professional shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, and use them right.

Do not use the shampoo "9 in 1 SUPER FORMULA: Shampoo, Shower Gel, Conditioner, Machine Oil, WD-40, etc.."

Do not use Eggs,Garlic,Pepper,Cheese,.. like a hair mask - There is no research (i saw only one in Japan about HGP )that proove any profit of these treatments.

If you just have thin hair and only have 1-2 hairs in your follicle, then you CANT CHANGE IT, you won't get lush thick hair like the models in this video , only with the help of good styling products.
