Growing up in the 70s/80s in a middle-sized northern town with a minor league hockey team, this brings back memories! Great times cheering on the team, the bone-crushing checks, the goals, and the fights!

I live out in Big Sky country; 4 or 5 years ago I was grocery shopping on "All Hollows Eve" getting ready for the Trick or Treaters who would soon be coming to my door, when I saw 3 College Age Girls dressed up in their Halloween costumes.

They were dressed as "The Hanson Brothers", complete with their Chiefs Jerseys, slicked back hair, broken eye glasses held together by tape and of course the foil.

They looked great and I complimented them on their choice of costume.

Long live the Hanson Brothers!

I went to see a fight once but a hockey game broke out instead.

Great movie,the fan bus scene pulling into town was also a side splitter.

The best breakout ever by a forward, got just past the circles stops winds up and takes a clapper that is so high it leaves the rink and smokes the guy playing the organ. Hahahahaha I piss myself laughing everytime I watch that part

No helmets, wood sticks, and a ruthless commitment to win! 1970's hockey!

The best part was that that whole debacle was just The Hansons being the Hasons (yes. I know 2 Carlsons)...no script, just go out and "do your thing"..

I challenge anyone to name one dirty thing the Hanson's did. That was just old school hard nose hockey.....Eddy Shore!!!!

I saw this film, and thought the violence was for dramatic effect, and then a few days later, I watched USA v Russia, and I had a rethink, and came to the conclusion, that the on ice scenes had been toned down!

I shouldn't laugh at this in 2023 but I will anyway. Such a great film that coudn't be made nowadays.

One of the funniest 3 minutes in cinema history.

I tried watching that movie once. Totally incomprehensible since it has no story.

I met the three of them back in the 90s when they were doing a bar tour. Really nice and friendly guys. I still have the autographed picture that they were handing out to everyone.

Those hits (legal checks) are nothin' except for those at the head. I have to watch this with my two brothers again at some point.

Hanson brothers were my favorite part of this movie as a kid. My high school was the chiefs and we mirrored the hansons lead all the way through the 1980’s and 90’s wether on the football field or basketball court or wrestling mat. If ya think the world is more violent today, ya must not of been around for the last chapter. Lol
