My apps I downloaded are not showing on my home screen

My home screen is showing white squares for my options not the round circle

My Home Screen Icons wont let me rearrange them like it was. Ehy?

Im switching over from iphone to an android. I use notepad on iphone. Does android have notepad. If so will my notes come over to an android phone. I don’t have a new phone yet not sure which phone i will get. Im watching your videos to see which one suits me best.

I just purchased a Samsung S20, and I could not find the apps I downloaded, then I found the Settings at the very top of the screen, but I am NOT able to transfer to the main screen.

Is it possible to set the Apps Button, meaning to view applications just by typing it, without dragging the screen from the bottom up?

I have Galaxy 7. I did a screen shot of the temp. to send to a friend. My home screen has date,time,city,temp. I don't know what I did, but after sending it to a friend & went back to my home screen, my normal home screen was gone. Even the google box to type questions in, etc.
