I’m currently in the process of getting a micro pig 🐖.. but I am concerned about winter/colder months (it snows here in Virginia sometimes) . How do I go about keeping my future pigs warm and healthy ?.

I have one thing to say: PIGGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel better now. I have two, and I crawl right in with them in their piggie shelter, they bitch a little, but it's the price they have to pay for fresh rice, powdered milk, oatmeal and peanuts. I compost the piggie poop, mix in a lil coco and grow a few (legal) pot plants here in California.

My 74 6ear old mother in law decided she needed a pig for a pet. She was not prepared. She jad the.poor thing in a very small box and was feeding it canned corn :( She's not at all prepared to car for a pig and as an animal lover I am really stressing out about the whole thing. Today she isn't feeling well so I am going to baby sit her piglet do I'm here trying to learn something about pig care. I think she thinks it's the same thing as keeping a dog. Ugh!!

I love that you talked about respecting the animals and what they like. I have horses and you wouldn’t believe how many times I see people pat horses like really hard like smack them. They don’t like that.
