I prefer The King of Harts to the taker. I don't like the anvil.
ОтветитьI like The King of Harts and The Hitman. I don't like bob's burgers backlund.
ОтветитьVince McMahon hasn't always been intelligent he rather have Mabel or Duke the Dumpster than macho man Randy Savage
ОтветитьThe Million Dollar corporation was wayyyyy ahead of its time. Especially given that Vince recreated it with him at the helm instead of Dibiase who was in WCW at the time. Bam Bam,1 2 3 Kid, Tatanks, King Kong Bundy, Sid, Kama. All pretty big names for the time in terms how they were presented and pushed on the card
ОтветитьDing ding ding ding ding ding…….
ОтветитьWho was the color guy in the Mabel Yokozuna match?
ОтветитьTatanka wearing those panties with pride.
Ответитьandré g m .. Héllo ! Papa
ОтветитьThank you for this. ❤
ОтветитьThe commentators sound like news today. I'm sure they would have said they were not biased at all.
ОтветитьI am not trying to take anything away from the wrestlers, they are obviously the most important part, and the is definitely my favorite group.
That being said....
When I rewatch this stuff, I realize the reason WWF took over, was actually due to the production quality.
The camera work is absolutely outstanding. They used the best camera equipment of the time, and not only that, the camera men's angles, and zooming, as well as whoever decides which camera to switch too, always switching to the action, seriously pay attention to how many times the camera switches in a match (hint: you will loose count).
The anouncer audio is top notch too, audio is absolutely key to entertaining visuals. The announcers are just as key as the wrestling in the WWF. The WWF hands down have had the best duos, and trios of announcers, who at times were probably more entertaining than the wrestlers. Jesse and Vince,
Gorilla Monsoon is cool with others, but Bobby Henaan/Gorilla Monsoon is definitely one of the ultimate. Vince and The King. J.R. and the King. To me, these announcers teams were some of the best, and likely a hidden reason why WWF was pretty dominant.
The pyrotechnics and lighting is arguably the best in any business. I would also say the way they set up the arena in general with the isle (later the ramp, and all the banners as well. It just gives it a more official feeling or something , that adds to the production quality .
Manager activity also adds to production quality, even local shows have em, but the more entertaining the managers are, the more professional the events seems, and WWF was definitely better at having the managers have quite a bit of the entertainment value in the WWF.
Yep the I.R.S scene in the cemetery wouldn't fly today!!
ОтветитьI feel like Duke Drose should have started as a heel and Henry Godwin should’ve started as a face

Ответитьvince.." theres certainly more things to life than money"...fast forward to 2023....selling the company
ОтветитьI couldn’t believe that Randy Savage left for WCW that year
ОтветитьThey at like the ring can't hold 2 wrestlers 500 pounds that's only 1k I had a weak deck that could hold 1800 so if a WWE ring can't hold them then.the WWF had awful rings then
ОтветитьI SAY IT OVCE i"LL ACAIN DC"S THE BAT MAN IS SCRAYER THEN YHE UNDERTAKER.
ОтветитьIn my point of view Owen Heart always has been the neglected, aggrieved, pitiful boy. Almost pathetic. Now seeing it many decades later, i stil have that feeling about him. Please give him his icecream.
ОтветитьWho was the booker for the shit show. Smh... Anpill Neidhart ought to have been a jobber hehe
ОтветитьI miss these moments. Classic. Love it when Jr Lawler always disagrees with Vince
ОтветитьThe 80's & 90's were the best for wrestling, my opinion. Considering I have seen a bit of the last 10 yrs, don't like it anymore
ОтветитьBundy looks like the lovechild of the michelin man and The hills have eyes
ОтветитьWhat a looney tune Backlund is, too much steroids rot the brain? Too many hits to the head maybe? Brain dead regardless
ОтветитьI wonder if Yokozuna managed to put The Undertaker out of the World Wrestling Federation for good, as promised..?
ОтветитьWhen tatanka turned heel they should of made him
A drunk

Smoking Gunn Daddy Ass Jones over here.
ОтветитьBret Hart was so bad at cutting promos it's sad cause he was a great wrestler but damn wtf was he even saying half the time
ОтветитьWhat a stupid fake sport for vacant morons.
ОтветитьBrett wasn't much of a talker
ОтветитьHow bob backlund became champion is still a head scratcher for me 🤔 when he said he won the belt in 1978 and lost it in 1983 then a in 1984 it came back to me 😂 the survivor series was 1994 not 1984, he looked like someone who belonged in a psychiatric hospital
ОтветитьSmoking Guns vs The Heavenly Bodies, Bodies are so good, can make teams look better than they actually are, Jimmy Del Ray and Doctor Tom Pritchard
ОтветитьMillion dollar Man after Aldo Montonya, the future Justin Credible
ОтветитьI love Owen playing the bitter brother, he is so good at it, Bob Backlaud, is good at playing a nut, he is now suffering from Dementia, I wish him and his family all the best
ОтветитьI remember when Tatanka turned heel on Lex Luger, well done
