Every time i try to restring my guitar with lovking tuners, it snaps off my string. What am i doing wrong?

Then why did my schecter c1 sls elite evil twin come rite out of the factory box with locking tuners but 2 full wraps around the post ? This is the first guitar I've had w locking tuners. Thanks for the help

Why they looks too shorter than stock tuner?

Just a quick question, I’m gonna restring a schecter with locking tuners, it’s configured EAD left hand side and GBE strings the right hand side on the headstock, so I get the facing the tuning peg holes to the nut on the left side, is it the same for the right? First guitar I’ve had with these so just wanna make sure lol.
