Are there any clubs with barely any players? Always like a challenge like that where you really have to start from scratch. Also do feel like doing a Scandinavian save at some point - Norway or Sweden maybe. Could be the next Graham Potter before throwing it all away by taken the poisoned chalice at Chelsea.

FM is so lacy with fixing the right/left strong feet. Georg Teigl was left footed for 10 years, dispate using it in rl only to stand. He was one of the fastest austrian players but in FM he wants to cut in on his strong left foot. Finally they fixed it last year.

Big Guangzhou Evergrande fan here, I've been a fan since I was in elementary school back in the 2010s. I used to go to watch home games since 2012 before moving abroad in 2017. Now because the Evergrande Group has basically bankrupted, we have absolutely no money and rely COMPLETELY on academy players, we used to play in the Tianhe stadium which was about 50000-60000 seated, but we had no money to renew the contract and also the 100,000 seated stadium project paused mid-build because the lack of money. Guangzhou FC is truely the biggest club in China and I really hope someone can take us back to glory again! (Please!)

For Sochaux, it was even more than "close to the start of the season", the first two games were actually postponed so the new ownership could come in and save the club. It was crazy.

My challenge save I'm planning on doing this year, is to choose 3 random nationalities every season that a player must have as a partial nationality to sign them... trying this at Athletico Madrid in the beta, and had Italy, Guyana, and Vanuatu. This second season I randomed out Ukraine, burundi, and Cambodia... love the challenge of seeing a wonderkid that I can never sign, just because he's not from the nation I drew, and likewise, finding people I've never heard of before, that are actually good I.E Nestory Irankunda, who has burundi as a second nationality, but looks like a future star in real life

A little biased as I support them but Reading is such a fun challenge this year. No money, second youngest squad in league one, points deduction, but an incredible academy/facilities. Start the save with 10 youth players that could easily stay with you all the way to top half premier league if you develop them properly, but you also need to find money through sales to pay off the costs of the stadium/facilities

If you want to go to Spain, I would go for Deportivo La Coruña or Malaga CF. Both teams have a lot of history and used to compete in LaLiga and in european football not too long ago, but now they're struggling in 1ºRFEF (Spanish Third Division). In fact, "Depor" is close to relegation and lost against his main rival "academy" team, Celta de Vigo B, a few weeks ago.

I guess we might have to wait until next year (especially if they get relegated), but Ajax is going to be a really popular save in FM soon enough. I wonder if their current state will be reflected in FM's full release.

Hvidovre IF in Denmark should be an interesting save. Just being promoted and being semi-pro team in the top Danish league, fighting against relegation is gonna be interesting.

My beta save is Venezia, the recent history makes it very interesting - plus the stadium is very unique!

In germany u have much more interesting teams like (Schalke, bielefeld (went from league 1 to 3 and are now on the verge to get relegated to the 4th) hertha bsc, u can pick any team in the 2nd league and its a good team (kaiserslautern Hannover hamburg ...) for the first league i would pick Köln or Werder Bremen



In turkish football u can pick teams like bursaspor( former league champions now in the 3rd league Altinordu only turkish players its like athletic club bilbao
And for the first leeague i would pick trabzon they're mid table atm not as good as they used to be

Nice video! However, the potential stars are is based on the level of league play in. So in ligue 1 most of your 5 stars would have been around 3 start. But I agree, Sochaux is a very fun project!
