Love this in theory, but I can’t figure out my gift. :( I try to think of things I enjoy doing or that come easy/natural to me. But no one would pay me for any of it. I guess I am doing it wrong?

The moral of the story is that God (or the universe, mother nature, whatever you want to call it) gives us both a dream and a talent but as some kind of cruel joke, they almost never match. No, you can't "do anything you want". You can't. You can't BE anything you set your mind to. You can't. Following your dream will lead to heartache. Following your TALENT will lead to wealth.

I can find a solution to any problem.
I can talk to any one, any where, any time.
I don't even need to know you to talk to you, I'll talk about my damn self.


You know what I can do with that?
I can sell things and help people with their problems.
There's no reason I shouldn't be successful in business because that's essentially sales and service. The problem is when everything you see has solutions, the everything becomes a problem that needs solving. I overthink. I doubt. I'm overly cautious of risk.

It's time to change that.

What’s the difference between your gift and passion, (I know that a passion is something you do with energy and you are excited to do with minimal effort) and your (gift is something you can do with less effort), but can anyone else tell me more, I don’t see a difference between the two, I would say follow both

I can't figure out my gift. I JUMPED. 17 yrs same co. Hated it. Now I need a job but don't want to go back to SSDD

Ask yourself: e.f if you have tried tried many different jobs, which one came easy/easier for you.

I was a very late bloomer and gad no idea what i wanted to do, so i started in the other end by trying random jobs and tick off what I liked and didnt like.

Q: What did you get dragged towards like a magnet 🧲 and which ones did you have to push forward to every single time and feel tired/drained.

For me it was a catehory that i got dragged/pulled towards and it was social work, just helping people.
I always was very helpful to people, friends etc. Now I gwt to hwlp people and get payed for it. Have very good feedback.
Having said that im still trying out different jobs within the social work category, and i feel im 90% there now, next to try is rehabilitation related.

Correction: If someone likes to write , that could be their talent, not gift. A gift is something you’re born with. A talent is something you find later on in life and a passion is something you want to do. So, if someone wants to write a book, they could be one of their talents but their gift may be making designs or something. So Steve explained it wrong. I recorrected him
