Karl Stefanovic punched/slapped by newsreader Deborah Knight

TODAY Show newsreader Deborah Knight was the envy of many this morning when she accidentally hit Karl Stefanovic in the head.

While demonstrating her self-defence skills, Knight gave the gold Logie winner a swift clip to the side of the head, leaving the 39-year-old clutching the side of his face in shock.

It's not the first time one of Karl's co-workers has turned on him.

Just over two weeks ago Lisa Wilkinson had a crack as well.

Watch out, Karl. They say bad things come in three.
