Town of Verwood is £1000 a month for a bedsit I can't afford obviously, I know 6 people that have ended them selves due to homeless and I think I might be number 7

What about their children's father's ?

When I was child in the sixties I thought that the brittish people was a rich people because they come to Spain in holidays with good cars and expend a lot of money now i can see the reality that is not very different from my country, maybe worst.pity.

Something in the USA I'm one that I struggle and I have a full time job with no kids my kids are adults but they have there owen families.

It's interesting how this documentary shows migrants complaining about how hard it is to live in the UK despite them causing this issue. Around 700,000 people are flooding into the UK each year which is around 1%, it's not only unsustainable but creates these very issues these women are complaining about. These women also vote for the parties that want to see us all suffer but also want zero accountability for their actions. You want to flee your country to sponge off the UK? Then have the decency to be quiet about the conditions or go back to your own country.

Its a bit bleak to call it sexist. I think the breakdown of the family structure is what women suffer the most from. These women are not in poverty simply BECAUSE they are women its because they are single mothers. Which make up atleast 70% of the economy. 50 years ago, almost every mother was a married woman with support from her husband. Now, the popularity and social expectation of marriage has fallen dramatically low in modern society and its women that suffer from it because they are the ones left to raise the children alone.

with all the contraception available to women in this day and age together with leg closing exercises there is no reason why women should be having kids they cannot afford and then have to leave employment because of this. Contraception is the levelling up for the sexes.

If your not working at getting benefits you do get the rent money ever week up to you to paythe landlord but they never say that they might have to top up the rent themselves but they do get help with rent wish they would the truth

Send the foreigners back and care for your own first

Unfortunately our system does not make it financially viable to be in a relationship either.

This is why, though I'm not married, have no children of my own, I have my own home, own car and full time job, no women are interested in having a relationship. This is because though they get little benefits as single parents, they would get even less if they got into a relationship.

I know plenty of local single mums that as much as they are currently struggling financially, they openly say they will never enter a relationship because of the money they would loose.

I know some single mums locally that though they struggle financially, they still get more money's worth in welfare and then other benefits such as housing benefit, council tax discount etc combined than what I get as a wage working full time for £28k per year but then have to pay full everything like mortgage.

Working does not pay enough in many cases and so people are trapped into a life of benefits to start with. An example of this is £28k per year in my northern town is a high wage but after all my bills I can't afford many luxuries and yet the woman who lives next door to myself that doesn't work has at least two foreign holidays per year and a top of the range BMW.

As expected, loads of victim blaming.

"Cost of living crisis" = Government imposed poverty and enslavement.

Don't worry though, "our" corrupt government has millions of OUR currency to pay for ILLEGAL INVADERS and for FOREIGN AID!!

Here in Japan decent poor people do not marry and do not have kids. Only immoral poor women are having kids here in Japan. And they are relaying on welfare and becoming burden of Japanese welfare.

Every day we encounter novel challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2023, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.
