Heard of this channel through the movie lol
Ответить"Yet.... he is an egg" perfect.
ОтветитьTAMAGO NI SASAGEYO
ОтветитьPretty proud to say I've watched this movie in theaters
ОтветитьYou know I didn't like the ending for the same reason nobody liked return of the jedi, because of the way they tried to "subvert expectations" in way that really did not add up to the whole argument overall...
The message of the movie is beautiful, the character development, the script over all, I got so many chills at the ending with Over The Rainbow, hell I even got chills many moments before. I just feel that the ending cannot do justice for what could have been a true masterpiece.
This is one of the first anime I ever watched and dang those feels hit me HARD when the beginning track started, I had no idea I was so attached XD
ОтветитьI watched this movie and I didn’t like it at all. This video makes me want to love it, but I just just don’t. The end ruined it for me. The first 2/3rds I loved.
If the ending was more satisfying I think it would be my second favorite, but it doesn’t hold up.
Your voice sound to heavy and why cant you get to the point instead of making stupis jokes
ОтветитьBest film ok fuck off it will never supass your name slinet boice kimi no nwa dreaming girl and couple more cany renember every movie and siries name
ОтветитьI'm gonna read the manga dad.
ОтветитьThe dad from this movie rates up there in worst anime dads for that year
ОтветитьThe cinematography of this video makes me very happy and Ms. Mctear is a treasure to listen to. I do wish she'd go in depth. Anthem of the heart deserves more credit.
ОтветитьShe could have said she was deaf
ОтветитьA few years ago, I was on an anime-movies-that-are-not-Ghibli kick and watched this. While I enjoyed the first part of the movie initially, the ending soured it for me. Years later, I found out that many elements of this movie are based off the writer's life, so I felt kind of bad for my initial assessment of it.
ОтветитьI know a lot of people hated the ending but I actually really liked it. Jun isn’t very confident and I feel like she would fit better with someone who is more confident and bold like Daiki rather than someone who struggles with the same thing, like Takumi. I would have appreciated a few more minutes of Daiki and Jun together but the prince was the egg.
ОтветитьIt is a be movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHello
ОтветитьFinally an accent I understand... Wait this isn't the same regional accent as me?
I can't understand you I'm not from your part of Alba
That part where he rejects her really hits different if you’ve ever had an unrequited love. That shit physically hurt me like it felt like someone grabbed my heart and yanked at it.
ОтветитьThank you for this! I loved this movie as a teenager, it's close to my heart~
I remember it being the reason I decided to learn the 2nd mvt of the Pathetique on the piano, which I still play pretty often
Great movie
Great video
Amazing narrator
Gosh the accent
ОтветитьI saw this a while back, loved it!
ОтветитьThank you so much! I am so, so, SO thankful that the two of you introduced me to this film! You're right, I'd never seen it, nor heard about it. And yes, I desired more out of the ending, but it was only because the rest of the film hit me so intensely. I have never in my life related so much to a fictional character as I did to Jun Naruse. The moment that hit hardest was when Takumi was playing the piano to show her how both of her ideas for the ending of the musical could become reality - and Jun starts to cry and tells him twice that he's amazing.
The desperation and loneliness of not having the courage to say what you really feel, the power music has to break those barriers down, and the almost vertigo-inducing feeling of release that Jun and I got to feel, when we finally met someone willing to use their musicality to help put our words and feelings into reality. We had both told ourselves for years that our words could only hurt, and yet, the desire to let our voices be heard kept fighting a desperate battle for our self-worth, always doggedly persisting, to keep the hope of speaking through music alive - however much it felt like an impossible, selfish dream. Despite the mountains of layers we buried those desires under, someone had the empathy, kindness and musical talents to slip by our defenses and, in a moment that felt straight out of a fairy tale, make us believe in the dream through them. And then, while trembling with fear all over, we found the courage to show that someone a little bit of the anthem of our hearts, and instead of them running away like we feared, our musical savior listened, and told us they wanted to help us play it. But we still refused to fully believe it, couldn't bring ourselves to truly trust the music would ever actually become real, until the magical moment when we both stood beside a piano, and realized our hero had just laid the final pieces down, and we could feel it all becoming real at once. That they were determined to see it through, just for us. That believing in someone else's dream meant something to them, too. That the power of music allowed us to connect, despite impossible odds, and let our hearts speak to each other through the music. That we would finally be a little less lonely, together. And that finally, incredibly, barrier-shatteringly, world-changingly, someone would get to hear a little bit of what we had silenced.
(I had an easier time letting go of my resulting crush than Jun did, though.)
Man. This shocked me. Insanely good. It’s like they hired real writers instead of the normal anime romance crap.
ОтветитьA better anime than A Silent Voice
ОтветитьI ship Daiki Tasaki and June Naruse in this film. They're so cute. I like how it didn't go the route of the bishounen falling for her but the jock. lol
ОтветитьDo you sometimes experience your heart ache while watching a very moving movie? Yeaaah I experienced that throughout the movieee.
I love this movie so much I some it receives the attention it deserves.
That ending you all guys have seen and commenting about is not the real ending. Just like how the story portrays itself, an illusion that was made to hold back his/her feelings. If you look closely on it, it clearly is the ending that we wanted to see. When Takumi said that he loves someone else to Jun, he meant it the way Nito said it to Daiki. The last ending was to show that when Daiki confesses his love to Jun, Jun would say the same. And the thing that Nito does not want to talk about is the thing that "Takumi loves Jun" That's why she said tell me properly and I will give my answer. That's because they never broke up in their Junior High School Days. And the "piggybacking" mentioned is an indirect quote.
ОтветитьI watched it when it came out. It was a day before an exam. I was so anxious and once I watched the movie... I was so relaxed after that. And the day before. I got an A on a writing essay ✌️
ОтветитьI was looking for the name of this. I watched it once and forgot to look at the name because I was young.
ОтветитьYESSSSS ❤❤ IT MAKES ME CRY
ОтветитьIk im really late but. I really liked this movie with one exception. The ending was disappointing, it ended so flat. In rest it wqs good
ОтветитьDude, legit thought the anime girl speaking at the start was Isla McTear. Then just when I thought I was safe, and realizing that we weren't getting Projekt Melody on this review, I immediately get sike combo-ed by an Irish accent. Best OP to any anime I've ever seen. 10/10 great episode.
ОтветитьJust finished watching this film. I loved it.
Ответить1 year later...
me:The moral of this film is
don't talk to eggs?
lol jk I understand this film
Just watched it with my lil sis on a whim.
We were left in joyful tears. 10/10 it's absolutely beautiful.
My heart broke when he said he didn't love her back. ☹️😭😭😭......cuz from the beginning I thought he love her that's why☹️
Ответитьwhy tf the ending gotta be like that
ОтветитьThis movie was beautiful, as well as this video! • ~ ` I'm very happy to have seen them, thank you!
Ответитьi watched it
i actually watched it on cinema
i remember that when she saw her father going into "the castle" on the hill with a woman for a "balldance" and run home to tell her mom
we all said almost at unison "oh no!"
btw
the way the love square got resolved at the end was unexpected but i liked the final couples
Ending sucks.
The whole anime was around Takumi & jun.
People are talking bullshit that this is a realistic ending.
In real life who cares about someone, he doesn't love.
During anime Daiki shows affection toward nito, boosts her confidence, and out of the blue, he confesses jun.
I am okay if Takumi doesn't love jun but Daiki confession to jun sucks.
This is my opinion, i know some people will disagree i am okay with.
Sorry.
It's a love square
ОтветитьI just watched it, and i loved it! did not expect that! five thumbs up
ОтветитьThis movie is amazing, I just saw it. I wish it had a bigger fanbase because holy crap, it was amazing
ОтветитьI was astonished of how this film was less talked about given i learnt about it after sooo long - the best i could do was recommend my friends.
Though i acknowledge its flaws, but there was an unknown charm in how the narrator potrayed it with an imaginary fantasy to weave the most real pointer to and after that too - one can just cry and as the creator expresses here 'feel ones own inability to express one's true feelings given unlike Jun we have had our voice all along'.
well, the ending wasn't bad, it was just disappointing
Ответить****SPOILER****
Say what you want. But Daiki is the most honorable man in this movie!
nah i liked the ending
ОтветитьWatched it last week, it was amazing!
